*Estella's POV*

"Austin! Austin, hurry up! I want to get there before it gets too crowded!" I was standing in the

kitchen of Austin and I's beach house, in my 1950's pin up bathing suit and bare feet. Today was

just another beautiful sunny day in Orange County, California and I had a beach craving. So today

Austin and I were to spend at least half of the day having fun on the beach.

"Coming! Just getting my sunglasses!" He called back down the hallway and from his bedroom. I

opened the fridge and snagged a fresh bottle of water. I smiled as I walked out on the balcony and

breathed in the sweet smell of the ocean and sand. It was beautiful today. Clear water, light waves.

It was my idea of a perfect day.

"Hey, you ready?" I turned and saw Austin standing there in his swim trunks with a towel around

his neck.

"Mhm." I replied taking one last glance at the crystal clear ocean. I was always so much more at

peace when it was like this. I followed him inside and shut the glass door to the balcony, locking it.

"Piggy back!" I squealed and he stooped over, allowing me to jump on his back.

"You're so tiny Es, I'm gonna have to feed you a little more." He joked, bouncing me up as I swung

my legs back and forth.

"Whatever, I feel perfectly fine." I retorted as he walked out of the house and locked the door. He

walked down the trail that led to the beach I so adored. I rested my head on his shoulder and

closed my eyes, just breathing in the smell of the ocean. A few minutes later, he stopped and set

me down on the sand, spreading our towels out neatly. I smiled and walked down to the water,

sticking my toes in. I closed my eyes again and just breathed a sigh of release. This was the ocean I

put my mother's ashes in. She loved the ocean as much as me and Austin combined. She'd sit and

watch the water, her straw hat placed on her blonde curls. I felt a strong arm wrap around my

waist and I immediately knew it was Austin.

"She's here with us." He spoke. I smiled to myself. He always knew what I was thinking.

"I know Austin. I can feel it." I replied, leaning into his side. Austin was only a few years older

than me. He was there by my side when mom passed. He helped me get through everything,

including the eulogy at her funeral. He stood up there with me and when I completely broke

down, he held me close and read the rest of it for me. I was grateful to have a friend like Austin,

I'd never take him for granted. We just stood there for a while and I listened to the waves roll in

and felt the cool water hit my toes.

"Alan called me earlier this morning.." Austin drifted off and by the way he spoke, I could tell he

was nervous. I opened my eyes and looked up at him.

"And?" I spoke, looking up into his eyes while he just stared out over the water.

"We, uh, got invited to go to warped tour this summer." My eyes widened and I could slowly feel

my heart breaking. A summer without Austin was a summer not well spent. Sure, i had the girls

from Club Bar Sinister, but it just isn't the same.

"And you know we've got the Aspire and Create merchandise we sell at venues..we wanted to

know if you'd like to go with us this time around?" He questioned. My heart seemed to instantly

sew back together at his words. I helped sell Aspire and Create merchandise one year before and

absolutely adored it.

"Austin, I would love to!" I squealed and jumped on him, allowing my feet to dangle as he laughed

and swung me around.

"Perfect! We set sail next week." I smiled brightly into his neck. I was going to be touring the

states with my best friend. It couldn't get any better than this.

At least, that's what I had thought...
