Octavia's POV:
Zoran was trying his best to make me comfortable. But the pain was unbearable. I was laying here suffering for hours. Still too weak to speak more that a few words at a time. Even that took most of my strength.
"You never told me your name," Zoran said to me.
"I-I'm Octavia," I replied. I had so many questions for him. Like where his family was. Why he had helped me. And where we were. But it was hard enough for me to answer Zoran's questions.
"That's a beautiful name, Octavia," He said. I just smiled slightly.
"A boat! Octavia a boat is coming! We're saved! And you can finally get the help you need," Zoran practically screamed. He got up and ran to where the boat was and waved it over.
But when Zoran got two of the men aboard to help carry me on, there was still one problem. They couldn't get me on the boat without moving the pole logged in my chest, and causing me excruciating pain.
"Zoran, go. Leave me. Just get someplace safe," I struggled to get out the last few words. I didn't want to keep him from getting to any family he had left. Or just to someplace where he could be safe. He deserves it.
"No. Octavia I am not going to leave you," just as Zoran said that. I heard someone run out.
"Octavia?" It was Lincoln.
