Fairy Tail High

Chapter 2

It was lunchtime. Raven was the first to get her lunch and started looking for somewhere to sit. She wasn't paying attention to where she was going, and ended up bumping into someone.

"Oh!" she gasped, turning around. "Sorry!"

The boy she ran into shook his head, making his brown hair shake. He smiled. "It's okay. Are you alright?"

Raven blushed a little. "Yeah, I'm fine. My name's Raven by the way."

"Kyle," the boy replied. "Nice to meet you. Want to sit with me at lunch?"

"Oh! Sure! Thanks!" Raven said with a smile.

"Great! Come on," Kyle said, heading towards a table.

As Raven followed him, she noticed Gray watching them with a confused look. She shrugged and mouthed 'sorry' before following Kyle.

"So what school did you come from?" Kyle asked as the two sat down.

"Oh, Fairy Tail Middle," Raven replied. "You?"

"Magnolia Middle," Kyle answered.

"That's cool," Raven said with a smile.

Kyle shrugged. "Eh, not really. It was just a regular school," he said, laughing lightly.

"I guess," Raven sighed. "But it still sounds cool."

"So how do you like Fairy Tail High?" Kyle asked. "This is my second year."

"It's great!" Raven answered. "This is my first year."

"So if you come from Fairy Tail Middle, do you have any magic?" Kyle asked, taking a bite of his food.

Raven nodded after taking a drink of her milk. "Yeah. I'm a weather mage."

"That's cool!" Kyle exclaimed.

"Thanks," Raven said with a smile.

"Lunch is ending soon," Kyle observed, looking at the clock.

"Yeah, I guess," Raven sighed.

"So what class do you have next?" Kyle asked, throwing his plate away.

Raven peeked at her schedule after throwing her plate away. "Oh, I have magic history. You?"

Kyle looked at his schedule. "Me too, it's a mix of all grades."

"That's great!" Raven said excitedly. "Maybe we could walk together?"

Kyle nodded. "Yeah, sure."

The two began walking side by side as the bell rang, heading to class.

*Earlier...*

Gray looked around the lunchroom after he got his lunch. His eyes met Raven's, and he watched her with a confused expression as she walked with a guy he had never seen before. He saw Raven shrug and mouth, 'sorry' before following the boy. Gray shrugged a bit as well and walked over to the table his other friends were sitting at. He sat next to Erza, opposite to Natsu, Happy, and Lucy. He had only been sitting there for a couple minutes before Natsu started yelling.

"Kai!" Natsu shouted, waving to someone. "Over here!"

Gray following Natsu's gaze, looking at a girl about their age with shoulder length black hair. She looked nice enough, and she shrugged before walking over and sitting next to Natsu.

"Guys," Natsu started. "This is Kai. I met her this morning."

"Nice to meet you," Erza said with a smile. "I'm Erza."
