Natsu and Gray had just reached the library, finding the two of them standing outside. Laxus had just walked up by the looks of it.

"I was starting to think you wouldn't come," Raven said.

Laxus shrugged. "I'm not really that kind of person."

"There they are..." Gray muttered.

"Just try to stay calm okay?" Natsu whispered.

"I am calm," Gray said, although he had already frozen the edge of the bench they were hiding behind. "Doesn't look like it," Natsu observed. Gray glared at him. "Be quiet..."

"So, what do you want to do?" Raven asked. "Dunno," Laxus admitted. "This was your idea."

Raven looked down. "You probably think it was stupid..."

Laxus shook his head. "No, no... I don't," he assured her. "What do you want to do?"

"I was thinking we could go out for some ice cream... or some lemonade or something..." Raven said softly.

"Okay, we could go get some lemonade I guess," Laxus decided. Raven smiled and nodded, grabbing her bag and following Laxus as he headed towards a cafe. Gray clenched his fists when he saw Raven move closer to Laxus. Any closer and she would be touching him.

"She's so close..." he muttered under his breath.

"Oh she's fine," Natsu scolded. "It's not like they're holding hands."

"So what are some of your hobbies?" Raven asked Laxus, making both boys fall silent and pay attention to their conversation.

"Nothing really," Laxus admitted. "Mainly magic I guess..."

"That's cool," Raven said. "You're a Lightning Dragon Slayer right?"

Laxus nodded. "Yeah. What kind of magic do you have?"

"Oh, I'm a weather mage," Raven answered.

Laxus seemed to perk up at that. "Oh, cool! So you can make lightning?" he asked with a small smile.

Raven smiled, glad that they were finally bonding. "Yeah! I can," she said, opening her palm, where a small lightning bolt now sat. "I can also make lighting storms and this thing called Black Lightning, which only targets my enemies and gives my allies a power boost."

"Awesome!" Laxus said. "Lightning always gives me a boost, Lightning Dragon Slayer and all."

"Guess we have something in common," Raven said with a smile, making the lightning in her hand disappear. Laxus nodded. "I guess so."

"Hey, there's the lemonade stand," Raven pointed out, speeding up a bit. Laxus smiled and followed her.

Natsu turned away from the pair to look at his ice mage friend. "You okay, Gray?" he asked.

Gray nodded. "Well..." he started before sighing.

"Well what?" Natsu asked as Laxus asked the man at the stand for two lemonades. Gray sighed again. "They're getting lemonade together, and she looks so happy..."

Natsu looked back at them, where Raven was now trying to convince Laxus to let her pay since it was her idea. Laxus shook his head, telling her not to worry about it and then paid for the drinks. "Maybe Laxus isn't all bad," Natsu suggested to Gray.

"He just bought her lemonade..." Gray muttered, almost as if he had tuned out everything else. Natsu sighed. He waved his hand in front of the ice mage. "Gray? Hello?"

Gray shook his head, snapping out of his trance. "Huh? What?"

"You spaced out," Natsu informed him, watching Raven and Laxus as they sat on a bench with their drinks.
