I woke up to the sun shining brightly down on me. I shielded my eyes from the brightness. I yawned and turned to look at Shimmer. "Good morning babe ho..." I started but then trailed off when I realised that Shimmer wasn't there. I remembered that Shimmer was at the hospital. The smile disappeared from my face and was replaced by a sad frown. I got up from my bed and walked into the bathroom. I sighed. Today I needed to go to the airport to pick up the guys and Damien. I quickly brushed my teeth and washed my face. Then, I got dressed in a black t-shirt, black ripped jeans and black leather jacket. I also decided to grab my sunglasses seeing as it was sunny. I looked into the mirror. It seemed to reflect my mood. Dark! I slowly walked down the stairs and towards the kitchen to get something small to eat. "Ehi cara!" My mom waved. "Ciao!" I replied briefly. "Kieran, its hot outside your gonna heat up pretty quickly wearing black!" My mom said full of concern. "It's fine." I said as I grabbed an apple. "Where are you going?" She asked me. "I'm picking up Damien and the guys from the airport." I said. "Oh! How come Damien never told me anything?" She asked me with sadness. I shrugged and walked away. I honestly wasn't in the mood to talk! I locked the door behind me and went into our underground parking lot. I was indecisive wether I should take one of my bigger cars or my other cars.
10 minutes later... I had decided on taking my Bugatti Chiron. It was my favourite car.

I parked at the drop and go part of the airport. Then I saw Damien, Giovanni, Taylor and Christiano walking towards the car. Damien smiled and saluted. I chuckled. It was a distant noise. It almost sounded foreigner me seeing as I hadn't laughed in ages. "Look at you bro!" Damien smiled. "Got a problem!" I joked. "I think you have an admirer!" He whispered. What? I turned around to see a woman batting her eyelashes at me. What the hell? "Hi!" She smiled. "Can I help you?" I asked her. "Yes, actually!" She said in thought. "Can you give me a drive babe?" She asked me as her fingers traced my 6 pack. My blood boiled. "Sorry! I don't give rides!" I flashed my smile at her and she blushed. I turned away to walk to my car and I couldn't help but roll my eyes. "Come on!" I called to the guys. "Coming babe!" The woman said as she walked behind me. I froze and tried to put on a smile. "I wasn't talking to you!" I chuckled at her reaction. "Then who..." she started. The guys whistled as they walked past her. "Let's get out of here." I said to the guys. They chuckled at my annoyance. "Can we stop and get something to eat?" Damien asked me. "Sure!" I said as I sat in the drivers seat and switched the car on. I revved the engine and raced off. The annoying woman spluttered behind us. I laughed.
20 minutes later...
I parked in front of ' Bella's Burgers'. We all got out and walked towards the door. It was a little after 4 by the time we had gotta here. We walked in to be greeted by soft music and a smiling assistant. "Hi, I'm Rose and I'll be your waiter for today!" She smiled.
"Table for... 5?" She asked as she counted how many of us there were. "6" I said. "Here is your table!" She said was she lead us to a table far away from everyone else. "What can I get for you?" She asked as she held a clipboard and a pencil. "One cheese burger with fries." I ordered. "One chicken surprise." Damien smiled. "Three veggie delights!" The other guys said. "Coming right up." Rose smiled as she started to walk away. "Wait!" I called after her. She turned around and looked at me. "Can you tell Bella to come?" I asked her. "But..." she started. "I'm his nephew!" I continued. "Right away!" She said as she hurried off.
Moments later... Taylor, Christiano and Giovanni were chatting away. Whilst I showed Damien the letter which Anonymous gave to me. "Look!" I said as I held the letter in front of his face. Damien's eyes widened as he read the letter! "That looks like..." he started but was cut off by shock. I nodded. "It is!" I said as my hand shook. "Damien! Kieran!" Bella smiled as she hugged me and Damien. "Ciao!" I smiled to my auntie. "Take a seat!" Damien said as he patted the seat beside him. "Why am I surprised to see you two here?" My auntie asked us as she took a seat beside Damien. "This!" I said as I passed her the letter which I found. Auntie Bella read the letter and she looked horrified. "What is this? Who is Shimmer? Why does this person want to kill Shimmer?" She searched my eyes for answers! I felt tears burning inside of me. "It's a... letter. Shimmer is my... girlfriend. I don't know why she wants to kill Shimmer..." I said. Bella looked hurt and angry. "Who is Anonymous?" She asked me. "I'm sure it's..." I couldn't come round to saying the persons name as we were interrupted by Rose. "Here are your burgers!" She smiled as she handed over our orders. "Oh, Bella! Would you like any tea or anything?" Rosie asked kindly. Bella forced out a laugh. "No dear! I'm fine!" She said. Rose nodded and walked off to serve another costumer.
Once they have ate... "Thanks for the food!" I smiled a weak smile. "Don't worry honey!" She smiled as she hugged me. "Tell your mom that I said hi!" Aunt Bella called after us. "Ok!" I said as I sat in my car. I revved the engine and raced off. "What were you guys talking about?" Giovanni asked me. I hesitated. "A... letter... from my... friend!" I lied. "Why did you look so sad then?" Taylor asked. "I..." I started. "His friend is moving away! He's sad because they were really good friends!" Damien lied for me. I shot him a thanks. "No prob bro!" He smiled as he punched my arm gently. Soon we were home! I sighed as I took my keys out and locked the doors. We all walked to the door of the house and I unlocked it. "Damien!" I heard my brothers name being called. "Ciao!" Damien smiled as he hugged our mom! I smiled. "How are you?" She asked as she cupped his face. "Fine but tired!" Damien yawned. "Go get some sleep darling!" She smiled. "Wait! First eat something!" She said as Damien walked off. "It's fine we ate at Auntie Bella's." He replied as he yawned again. "Hello!" Giovanni said to my mother. "Hello." My mother smiled.
Later... "So, are you telling me that this letter belongs to the one and only?" My mom asked me. "I'm sure!" I nodded. "We must stop her then!" My mom whispered. "I will!" I said.
