I raced to the hospital as fast as I could! Behind me lay an unconscious Shimmer! 15 minutes later...
I finally arrived at the hospital! I quickly parked in the A and E car park. Then I started to get Shimmer out of the car when I heard wheels from a hospital bed approach me! I turned around and standing behind me was a nurse with a hospital bed for Shimmer! She pushed the bed close to the car and we carefully lifted Shimmer onto the bed! We rushed inside where the kind nurse checked us in! "Name?" She asked. "Jack Holloway!" I replied quickly! " Ah,we got a call from someone who gave your name!" She told me. " May I ask who this beautiful, young unconscious woman is? Her name I mean..." she asked. "Shimmer, Shimmer Sutherland!" I told the nurse. "Ok, thank you sir! I am going to take her into a room and run a few tests so as to see why she is unconscious!" The nurse told me. "Is... is she pregnant by any chance?" The nurse enquired. I shook my head! She nodded and walked away with Shimmer who was STILL unconscious on the hospital bed! I sat down on a nearby seat! The waiting area was empty! Which was good... I put my head in my hands and tears began to slide down my cheeks! Had it been wrong to have had sex with Natalie? I thought about it for a few moments. Should I have had sex? Questions ran through me regarding the sex that I just had with Natalie! I didn't know whether I should have just waited until Shimmer was ready to give up on her virginity, or if it was right for me to have had sex with Natalie! I was so in thought that I didn't realise that the nurse was back! "Mr Holloway?" She said and she waved her hand in front of my face! I looked up in shock. "Oh. Sorry, is... there a problem?" I asked her. "No... no I just wanted you to come into the room so that I could give you a little bit of information!" She said. I stood up and followed her down the hall. We turned a right then a left. Then we reached a door with a sign which read ' Room121'

The nurse opened the door and held it open for me. I thanked her and walked inside the room. " Please take a seat, Mr Holloway!" She said as she gestured towards a chair. I nodded in acknowledgement. I walked towards the seat and sat down. The nurse then shut the door and sat at her desk. " Is she ok? What happened?" I asked her, worried about Shimmer! " Please... calm down she is ok!" The nurse said. "What happened to her?" I asked. " Firstly, Shimmer is ok. She is expected to wake up soon! And lastly, according to my test results, Shimmer fainted due to a lot of shock!.... Is there something that I should know, Mr Holloway???" The nurse told me, and asked. I considered telling the nurse about me having sex with Natalie, but then I wondered - did Shimmer even see anything? Does she even know anything happened? "Hello?" shouted the nurse. As if I was jerked away from a dream I came back to reality. "Sorry, I... I just zoned out for a moment!" I apologised. I then took a deep breath before saying anything to the nurse. " No, nothing happened that you should know of!" I assured the nurse. She looked doubtful. Nevertheless, she nodded and walked out of the room. Then, her head popped through the door. " As I said, Shimmer should be regain her conscious soon. Once, she is awake let me know and I'll have to run some tests on her again just to check that she she is ok to go home or not. You will find me at the reception desk!" she said, then shut the door and walked away! I completely zoned out once again! Should I have had sex? With Natalie? Does Shimmer know anything? Did she see anything? What will she do? When will she wake up? All of they questions raced through my mind. Part of me agreed that it was right to have sex with Natalie! The other part disagrees and says that I should have been patient and let Shimmer tell me when she was ready to have sex with me! I was so confused! Emotions ran through me. Sadness,anger,confusion,frustration,fear all were emotions that were running through me at that moment! I was then pulled back to reality when I heard coughing. "Wh-where am I?" a voice croaked! I knew that voice... it was Shimmer's voice! She was awake! " Shimmer!" I said relieved. I ran up to her bed and saw that she was clutching her throat! Water. I needed water! I quickly ran out of the room and called the nurse! As we headed to her room, I saw a water dispenser and grabbed a glass and filled it with water. I carefully but quickly walked back to room 121 so as to not spill the water everywhere! I rushed into the room and saw the nurse writing something on her clipboard. I walked towards Shimmer to give her water to drink. I paused, was she allowed to drink water? I turned around to the nurse to ask her. She looked at me and nodded as if she knew what I was thinking! I carefully lifted Shimmer's head up and she thirstily drank all the water. She then nodded as if to say thank you! I smiled! After that, the nurse sent me out of the room! I had to stay seated in the waiting area. After about 10 minutes the nurse still hadn't come back! I watched as a couple of other people walked into the waiting area and sat down nervously, as if they knew that a dentist was going to be pulling their teeth out! Finally, the nurse came walking back! She beckoned me over, so I got up and walked to her! " Shimmer is ok to go home! However, she wants to talk to you!" said the nurse. I wondered if she wanted to talk about me and Natalie having sex together! I quickly walked to room 121 and hesitated, before I quietly knocked on the door. " Come in!" called Shimmer. I slowly opened the door and when I got inside I shut the door behind me! Shimmer was standing beside her bed, clutching it as if she would die if she didn't keep a hold of the bed rails! "H-How could you Jack?" Shimmer questioned me with sadness. " I thought you loved me!" she said as a tear ran down her cheek. " I was so excited to come home and tell you that I was ready to give up my virginity with you. That I trusted you! ... but you had to ruin my trust! You had to destroy everything! Everything that we had is now destroyed!" she yelled, as the tears that were running down her cheeks started falling rather quickly! " I- I ...it's not as it seems-" Jack started. " No. Jack, no! I saw the way that she looked at you! I saw the way that you were around her! It was all true! You are CHEATING on ME!!!!" I yelled. I couldn't help it! I fell to the ground and broke down completely! How could Jack? Out of everyone! My tears became sobs as I cried. I could feel the regret that was growing around Jack.
