You will visit your Orthodontist between 4/6-8 weeks and they will change your wire(not every time though) and change your colors or even tighten your braces. It will be like you got your braces all over again.
If a wire is really hurting you and the wax doesn't seem to help, go to your Orthodontist(even if you don't have to have an appointment) and they will resolve it.
