"Jungkook! What are you doi-"
Before I could even complete my sentence, he cut me off. He covered my mouth and brought me to the end of the nearest aisle. While taking his hand off of me, he said, "You can talk now, SooJin." "Actually, I could've talked before, but you just didn't let me. What's this all about?!" He looked down both sides of the aisle before answering me. "I saw Mina and she can't see us."
This boy could have done so many things to avoid Mina seeing us, and he chooses to hide...BRINGING ME ALONG. "You know what you should do. You should go to another aisle, so Mina won't see us together. See. I use my brain. Unlike a certain person I'm with." He just awkwardly scratched the back of his neck. "That's a decent idea," he mumbled. Then he left me going to who knows where. Since I don't have any distractions now, I can actually get the things I needed.
I walked down the aisles looking for ingredients to make actual food that isn't ramen and Hot Pockets. After gathering enough food to feed me and Jungkook for a whole month, I bumped into Mina.
Since I was texting Jungkook to meet back up with him, I didn't see her. I dropped my phone and Mina dropped her shopping basket full of makeup. Quickly, I helped her pick up her basket while she unluckily picked up my phone. "Who are you texting? The caller id is "Idiot"," Mina asked. Because I ain't a bad liar unlike people on TV, I gave her a very believable white lie. "It was just my cousin who's staying over for a while. We came to the grocery store together, and we're trying to meet up again to go home," I faked-smiled. "The guy who came to our school who wrapped his arm around you? That's your cousin?" she confusedly questioned. "Yep! That's the one!" I told her. So this lie wasn't half fake, I mean Yoongi did stay over for a while...
And of course, when Mina was about to leave me alone, Jungkook had to come right now. "SooJin!" he shouted while running towards me. Once he finally catched up to me, Mina turned around. I could tell by his face that he was shook when he noticed Mina was here. "Um...SooJin, glad I ran into you. I finished half of our project essay with the notes I wrote. I can send you the file to your email so you can finish the rest. After that, we can just finish up the rest of the project. Ok?" he faked. Catching onto what he was doing, I continued the conversation, "Good. I can finish my part by myself, I guess we could just text each other for the rest of the project since I don't want to see that ugly face of yours." Gladly, Mina believed our acting and left us from boredom of our project.
I complimented Jungkook on his quick instinct of acting, and he complimented me for completing the "scene". "Come on! Let's go to self checkout so we can leave! I already bought my medicine and food." He agreed and we went to finish the grocery trip.

Bump!
"Jungkook! What are you doing?!" I asked him.
"Sorry, I just have something in my mind," he apologized while putting the grocery bags down after bumping into a wall. This kid has been acting weird since today, why? "Hey SooJin! Can I go to my house? You are fine by yourself, right?" Jungkook blurted out. With a confused mind, I say, "Go ahead."
And he left, running out the door to go back home.
Since he did mention it during his lie, I should probably work on the essay part of the project. So I went up into my room and started to write.
Secretly wondering why Jungkook had to leave
