Chapter Thirty-Three

Ashley's POV
I woke up to the sun shining through the windows and birds chirping outside. I looked at the clock. it was about 9 in the morning. I got up an began to unpack my stuff and put it in the closet. When I was done I pulled some clothes out and walked into the bathroom that was connected to the bedroom. I started the shower, warming the water to my liking. I jumped in washing my hair and body. I shave everything that needed to be shaved. When I was done I got out and wrapped my hair up in a towel. I got dressed and took my hair from the towel. I blowed dried it and put it up in a messy bun. I got my phone to see Austin and Vic both called me. I called Austin first knowing that he was worried. The phone rang for a bit before going to his voice mail so I just left him a message. "Hey Austin it's Ashley. I know you're probably worried out of your mind right now, but I'm ok. I came home because I have something I need to do, but I promise I'll  be back. I miss you. Love you Austin, I'll see you soon" I hung up the phone and dialed Vics number. surprisingly he answered right away. "Ashley! Where are you? Tony has been trying to get over you and trying to stay strong, but he's failing miserably. He needs you here, why did you leave?" I laughed with how fast he was talking, but my heart broke knowing he was trying to get over me....again. "I came back home, I can't tell you why I left. At least not yet. I'm sorry if I scared you guys, but I'm fine. He's trying to get over me? I told him I was coming back. I promised him that." "He says he doesn't believe you're coming back. He said that if you couldn't tell him why you left then you wouldn't be back for him and that he'd try to get over you." I stayed silent. How could he think that  I wouldn't come back for him? "Hey Vic I have to go now uh I'll call you back later goodbye" and with that I hung up before he could even say anything else. I began crying  uncontrollably. Luckily I hadn't done my makeup yet because I'm sure it would b all down my face. I got myself together and stood up from the bed. I went to the bathroom to do my makeup and my eyes were bloodshot I hurriedly put my makeup on and ran out the door. I grabbed my keys and walked out to the car. I drove to Forest View as fast as I could. My eyes started watering again and I had to pull over. This was going to be the longest drive of my life

I walked inside to the receptionist desk in the front and got out my ID knowing I'd need it. "Hi I'm uh I'm here to see  Delphi Cunning. I'm her older sister Ashley Cunning." The woman gave me a questioning look. "Oh and here's my ID" She looked at it before nodding and handing it back to me. "Go on back" She said and I gave her a small thankful smile. I walked back to my sisters room and knocked on the door before stepping inside. "Hey Del" I said with a sad smile. She turned around and her eyes got big. "ASHLEY!" She ran into me giving me a strong hug. I laughed and sat down on the couch in her room. "How have you been Del?" I asked her and she smiled. "I'm doing fine. I don't like being here." I nodded. "I know sissy" I loved my little sister and for her to be stuck in the past, killed me. I wanted my little sister back. I wanted to take her to concerts and on tours because I could. I wanted to stay up all night and have her tell me about the boy she likes. I just wanted to sped time with her, but I can't. "Ash?" I turned to look at her. "Yeah Del?" she looked down at her hands and I knew what she was going to say. It was the same every time I came here. "When's mom and dad coming?" My eyes teared up a bit at the thought of my mom and dad visiting their youngest daughter. I grabbed her hand and kissed the back of it. "Soon Delphi. I promise you that" I said. She nodded and looked at the TV. A few seconds later she ripped her hand away and stood up. "WHO ARE YOU? WHAT'RE YOU DOING HERE? WHAT DO YOU WANT?" I quickly stood up and pressed the button on the wall. The doctors came in and sedated her. Once they were gone I walked to Delphi's bed and kissed her forehead. "Bye Del" I whispered holding back tears.

On the way home I stopped at the local grocery store to pick up some stuff for dinner. When I got home I went upstairs and got dressed in my pajamas and went downstairs to start dinner. When it was done I got a plate out and got my food. Plopping down on the couch with my food, I turned the TV on and began eating. I took my plate to the kitchen and washed in when I was done. I walked up the stairs and pulled my phone from the pocket of my jacket. I was supposed to call Vic back, but I was exhausted. When I was about to lay down my phone began ringing, and to my surprise it was Austin. I figured he'd be on stage right now. "Hey Austin" I said my voice more quiet than I expected it to be. "Hey Ash where are? We have three days off and I wanna hang." I laughed. "I'm back home in Ohio, if you want you can come and visit, but I'm not coming back on tour" I said "I'm on my way. I'll call you when I land in Ohio" he said before laughing. I hung up and charged my phone up before falling asleep.

"I would love you longer, I would kiss you softer I could give you everything you need" My phone was going off. I groaned before rolling over. A smiled appeared when I saw Austin was calling me, although it would've been better if it wasn't at 2:30 in the morning. "Hello" I said sleepily. "Hey Ash I landed in Ohio, can you pick me up so we can hang? If not I can get a taxi to a hotel." he said laughing. I jumped up and pulled my shoes on. "No no I'll be there in like 10 minutes. Best be waiting outside the airport" I said laughing a little myself. "Yes ma'am" I laughed and hung up. I got in my car and drove to the airport and Austin was standing outside waiting. This was going to be a good three days.
