Chapter Thirty-Nine

Ashley's POV

I woke up to my alarm clock going off. I looked at the time and jumped out of bed. I put on a random outfit and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and do my hair. I put little makeup on and headed downstairs to grab a bottle of water. I walked back upstairs to see Tony sitting on the bed with his arms crossed. "Hey what's wrong?" I asked, sitting down next to him. He turned to look at me and blinked. "Where were you last night?" I sighed. I knew this was coming, and I dreaded it. "I uh... I went to go see my sister...that's why I had to leave during tour. Her doctor, Dr. Saint, called me and said that she'd been asking to see me." His face softened and he looked surprised. "You have a sister?" I nodded my head. "Well how old is she?" "14. She was in a car accident with my aunt.... she has brain damage that cuts in and out, but Dr.Saint says that it looks like she's starting to remember things. That's where I went last night, I went to see my sister. I swear I only meant to stay a hour, but I couldn't leave." I said turning to him. He smiled at me and kissed my cheek. "So are you seeing her again today?' I nodded my head in response. "Do you want to come with? I mean you don't have to" He kissed me and nodded his head before getting up off the bed and getting ready. I called Dr.Saint and told her that we were coming and to tell Delphi that I'd see her in a bit. I walked into the living room and grabbed my keys. Once Tony and I were in the car, I plugged my phone into the stereo system and started playing Hold On Till May. Tony had a crooked smile, to which I just rolled my eyes to. He laughed and grabbed my free hand, interlacing our fingers together. When we reached Forest View I looked over at Tony and he gave me a small smile. We got out of the car and walked inside. Immediately Dr.Saint was in front of us. She gave me a tight hug and looked Tony up and down. "Ashley is this the band hottie you told me about?" She said winking at me. I laughed and nodded. "Yeah this is Tony, Tony this is Dr. Saint." They shook hands and greeted each other. "Well Del is waiting for you, so you can go right in" She said with a smile before walking off. I grabbed Tony's hand and smiled at me. I began walking with Tony at my side. Once we reach Delphi's door, I knocked. As we entered, Delphi ran and wrapped her arms around me tightly. I kissed the top of her head and let go. When she stepped back, she looked at Tony a little confused. "Who is that? Why does he have long hair? I like his tattoos though? OOOOOH IS HE IN A BAND?" she excitedly. Tony laughed a little. "This is Tony, yes he's in a band" She smiled and gave him a hug. "What band does he play in??" She asked, eyes glowing with excitement. "Pierce The Veil" I replied. Her eyes got big. "HE'S THE ONE YOU USED TO SAY YOU'D BE WITH ONE DAY!!! I REMEMBER NOW" I looked at her and then Tony, feeling my cheeks heat up. He laughed and kissed my cheek. We spent a few hours with Delphi before leaving. "Well that was fun I really liked Del. She seems awesome." I laughed and replied "She is. I remember when she would obsess over Jamie." Tony laughed. It was a perfect end to a great day.
