Hugh's POV;
I had just arrived back at my apartment from the shops, surprisingly my cat 'Max' wasn't meowing at my feet like he usually would. Putting down all of my shopping I walked out to my garden seeing if the grey tabby was there. He wasn't, I started to walk back inside when I heard a soft voice say
"nice kitty,"peering over my fence, where I heard the voice I spotted a girl around my age (19) sitting on the lush grass of her garden talking to my cat. Spotting me, the girl walked over to the fence between us, Max in her arms.
"Is this your cat?"
She asked looking up at me a piece of auburn hair falling in front of her left eye
"Yeah, his name's Max" I responded holding my gaze trying desperately not to blush. "He's a very nice cat," she said handing the small cat over the fence to me. "I found him in my garden near my vegetable patch." "What's your name?" I stupidly blurted out, smiling she answered: "Fiona Frauenfeld, what about yours?" "Hugh, Hugh Apiston," I answered. "Well it's very nice to meet you Hugh, but I best go I have to meet up with some friends soon," she spoke softly smiling at me. "You too," I smiled turning around to head back inside, quickly I turned around shouting "Fiona, umm what's your number?" Grinning she ran back grabbed my hand and scribbled it down with a pen she had gotten out of her trouser pocket. Walking back inside I grabbed my phone off the table and added a contact, 'Cute Neighbour' quickly typing in the number a smile planted on my face.
