Johnny sat on the floor, hugging both knees staring blankly at a wall. Dexter knocked on the door "Go away dad." Johnny mumbled, ignoring Johnny's request, Dexter opened the door and looked at his son "We need to talk son." Dexter said softly as he walked over to the miserable teenager "We don't need to talk about anything dad!" Johnny shouted angrily. Dexter sat down beside Johnny and placed a hand on his back "You haven't eaten for 3 days Johnny, yet alone come out of your room." Dexter spoke softly, Johnny looked at Dexter "Is this really what a broken heart feels like dad?" shocked, Dexter looked at Johnny "A broken heart..." Dexter sighed and stood up "Johnny, have a shower, get dressed in clean clothes, have something to eat then come talk to me." Dexter said and walked out of Johnny's room.
~A few minutes later~
Johnny sat beside Dexter who was showing Johnny some old photos which cheered Johnny up a bit. Johnny's eyes widen and he jumped up "That's it! I could plan a makeup date!" Johnny shouted with happiness as he jumped up which made Dexter smile. "Nana and I could help you Johnny." Dexter said standing up beside his son. Johnny nodded and hugged his dad, Dexter smiled and returned the hug before letting go "Lets go then Johnny." Dexter said as he walked out of the room, followed by Johnny.
~A few hours later~
Johnny knocked on Nana's front door, instead of Phil opening the door, Nana herself opened the door and greeted Johnny with a smile and stood aside for him to come in. Johnny walked inside to see Phil beside Ash. Ash's face grew into a massive frown "Nana why is he here?!" Ash demanded looking away from Johnny "Well child...that's for him to tell you." Nana said before walking out of the room, followed by Phil. Johnny walked towards Ash who continued to ignore him "Ash, let me make it up to you by taking you on a date." Johnny said as he looked at her, Ash faced him, still frowning and shook her head "Give me one good reason why Johnny?" Ash grumbled, rolling her eyes. "Look! If this date goes well, give me another chance. If it doesn't go well then boom! I'm out of your life forever, you don't ever have to see or hear me again." Johnny pleaded, Ash looked at Johnny with shocked eyes "Your serious?" she asked stunned "Yes, I am." Johnny spoke softly. Ash nodded and smiled slightly "Look...I truly am sorry about-" "I know, Johnny." Ash cut the gorilla off "I forgive you." she smiled, Johnny smiled back. Phil and Nana looked at each other and smiled "Teenage love." Phil laughed, Nana smiled "It's good to see the both of them happy for a change instead of jumping down each others throats." Nana smiled, Phil nodded in agreement as they watched the two.
~Time skips, the date ends~
Johnny looked at Ash smiling "Thank you for tonight Johnny." Ash smiled as she turned to Johnny and gave him a hug "I'll see you tomorrow morning." she said as she got out of the truck and shut the door. Johnny honked the horn before driving off. Ash smiled as she got into her apartment, sighing she sat on the couch as she switched the TV on and began to watch Pop Asia.
