Chapter 15

Sequoyah's pov

I been tired all week. it's been a month! I heard about the fight at Jelani's house but I wasn't able to come. I had to baby sit. ugh! But today I promised Shay that I'll come with her to the clinic to find out if the baby is a boy or a girl. Of course I'll probably not be the only one to come she'll probably bring jazzy. I put on my overalls and my sister's Tom's. I put my real hair in a bun and put a wig over it. I walked outside to see shay waiting for me on my porch.

"Damn. You take too long." She said I laughed. She looked cute. She had on a turquoise dress with her hair in a ponytail. You could tell she was pregnant. Her stomach was not huge but it was big enough.

"Well you no beauty takes time." She gave me a high five.

"Right" She smiled.

"So how we getting there?" I asked wanting to no because I can't just be standing here not knowing our transportation.

"Boss is coming to drop us off." She said.

"Why are you still messing with Boss. First off he's rude. Second he's not that cute and third jelani is who you should be with." I said rolling my eyes. I know my cousin loves Shay to death but she doesn't want him anymore.

"Ok listen up THIS IS MY LIFE AND I COULD DO WHAT THE FUCK I WANT TO DO. JELANI DOESN'T CARE ABOUT ME THAT MUCH. IF HE DID WE WOULD'VE BEEN FAITHFUL.....I loved him....but now I'm the big bad wolf just because I'm friends with a guy that offers me help. Me nd boss are just friends nothing more I'm not tryna to be with no one right now..I need to focus on my baby right now because abortion is not an option." She said. I gave her a hug.

"What you gon name the baby?"

"If it's a boy it would be Jaden Emanuel Miller and if it is a girl I don't no. I think Ashay Loving Miller." I thought those names were so cute. Then Boss pulled up. I looked at him waved and then hopped in the front seat on purpose. Shay gave him a hug and sat in the back. Just then I got a text.

Jelani:  Wyd? 12:45

-Oh I'm going to the clinic with Shay too see if the baby is a girl or a boy. 12:47

Jelani:   Oh......Do y'all need a ride? 12:48

-No boss is giving us a ride. 12:50

Jelani: She wit boss now? :( 12:58

-No they're just friends. 1:06

Jelani: oh ok well tell me if it's a boy or girl .....peace!

-ok bye

I turned off my phone and got out of the car the clinic wasn't that great but it surely would tell us if it's a boy or a girl.

An hour later we found out that it was a boy I didn't text Jelani because I wanted shay to tell him so I texted him and said meet us at the pizza place but shay doesn't no. Shay and I sat down and ordered a pizza. She got cheese and I got pepperoni. Five minutes later jelani walked in with dynasty. He hasn't been at school so none of us really sees him. Shay looked shocked. Dynasty ran to shay.

"Hi mommy shay I missed you." Shay picked her up and gave her a hug.

"Hi beautiful" She said kissing dynasty on the cheek. Dynasty Sat by shay and jelani Sat by me.

"Wassup Shay?" He said.

"Oh nothing." She said looking down at her plate.

"You need help wit anything?" He asked.
