"Wait...what are we doing?" Lucy questions while fixing her baseball cap as her eyes follow Alice and Emerson around in the open area of the field that they had driven to.

"Training montage." Alice smiles. "If you're who the prophecy says, then you need to be ready."

"I still don't see how this is relevant." Lucy shakes her head.

"In the prophecy, it explains how a long time ago that powers were created and sent through the space-time continuum to a random person to hold it," Emerson explains. "So, that means we need to get your abilities working."

"My abilities working?" Lucy raises her eyebrows. "What're you going to do? Shoot a gun at me?"

"How'd you know??" Alice smiles while holding up her gun.

"Wait, what?!" Lucy screams while ducking behind a tree as Alice pulls the trigger.

"Use your powers! Protect yourself and the people around you!" Emerson yells. "Don't hide away!"

"I'm friggin human!" Lucy yells. "I can't save me or anyone!"

"Yes, you can!" Emerson screams as another gunshot rings out. "Use what was given to you!"

"I think this is a little rash! I mean, starting out like this!" Lucy shouts back, Emerson sighs and finally gestures for Alice to stop shooting at Lucy.

"Fine. We're done." Emerson finally replies. Lucy lets out a breath of relief before walking from her hiding spot, just as Alice decided to shoot once more in her direction, Lucy screams and rolls out of the way. "See, you can do something." Lucy sits up on her knees and glares at the smirking girls, her eyes almost turning red in anger.

"Is she supposed to do that?" Alice shakily demands as Lucy, seeming as if she were someone else, stands and starts making her way towards the girls.

"I haven't exactly read up on the abilities," Emerson mutters. "But I vaguely remember something being mentioned about a 'second personality' or something."

"Great. Thanks for the heads up."

Later

Lucy blinks her eyes open while looking around, she was in some kind of dirt crater. Lucy's hat had burn marks and was covered in dirt where it lay a few feet away from her. Slowly, she sits up while grabbing her head in pain. "It feels like I have a damn hangover."

A groan emits a few feet away from the crater before a face, covered in ash and dirt, looks over the edge. "Are you, you?"

"What do you mean am you, you?" Lucy demands while leaning back on her elbows after putting her hat back on. "What happened?"

Another face appears next to the one that was looking at her, only a smirk was on this person's features. "I think we unlocked what makes you tick."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Lucy whines.

"What's the last thing you remember?" The first person questions.

"Emerson telling me that you two were done and I walked out, you shot at me and everything seemed to slow down...as if I was a computer being rebooted or something," Lucy mumbles. "It was weird and then I just blacked out."

"Yeah, well..." The second shrugs. "If you look around...you're the one who did this."

"What?" Lucy questions.

"Come up here, we'll show ya." The first chuckles.

"I uh...how am I?" Lucy stutters while looking at the steep walls around her.

"We'll get the rope from the car." The first nods. "Go on Emerson."

"What's left of the car," Emerson mutters before walking away.

"How much damage did I cause?" Lucy looks back at Alice.

"We'll work on it." Alice shakes her head. "That was your first time experiencing your abilities. When we're done, you'll be the one in control and you'll know how to do everything that comes with the package."

"The package?" Lucy demands as Emerson throws the rope down to her. "That's what we're calling it?"

"Yeah, but can we work out the details later?" Alice questions. "Because I think I'm going to pass out."

"You're not alone," Emerson admits while falling down next to her just as Lucy climbs over the side of the crater, her eyes widening at the damage that had been done. The field looked like World War III went through, everything was charred and broken. Leaving almost nothing from when they had first come hours before.

The car they drove here was up in flames where the engine should have been, but it now was in a tree on the opposite side of the damn field.

"You mind walking back to the hotel and grabbing a new car?" Alice demands while shielding her eyes from the sun so she could look up at Lucy's stunned face. "I don't think I can walk."

"Me neither." Emerson shakes her head. "Don't worry, we'll hide if someone comes."

"Yeah..." Lucy mutters as she starts to walk away from the damage. "Yeah...I can do that."

"Good, and hey Lucy?" Alice calls after her.

"Yeah?" Lucy turns back.

"Hurry, The Avengers probably caught word of this by now." Alice states.

"Along with every officer in the country," Emerson adds.

"So go fast." Lucy shrugs. "Yeah, I can do that."

Quickly, she starts rushing towards the road to make her way back to the motel, all the while thinking about what the motel had looked like so she could grab all their stuff. Lucy closes her eyes and rubs her temples before opening them again, only to stumble over the coffee table that held their breakfast from this morning.

"What the hell?" Lucy breathes while looking around the room that she was miles from seconds before. Lucy blinks a few times before springing into action as the sirens from ambulances, fire trucks, and police officers blast past the motel. "We're fucked."
