I step off the train and immediately see in the crowd and step on the stage. I am completely at a loss for words, I guess I didn't really prepare anything. Well, this was Daisy's district, I'll say something about her, there's got to be someone in the crowd who was touched by her. "Hello District 8. I uh.. didn't really prepare anything so forgive me if I kinda babble. Anyways I'd like to talk about one of your citizens." I sigh and a solitary tear streams down my cheek. "Daisy Ogilvy was the female District 8 tribute, and I'm not sure if I'm the only one who feels this way but she meant a lot to me." I look into the crowd and see some tears in the crowd and know she was loved by many. "And uh I wish we had met under different circumstances, and although she forced me to be her ally, I have no regrets about accepting." I step off the stage and run into the train. Blair sits next to me and the train slowly starts.

The instant I walk out a see a women I presume is Emory's mother, she looks just like her, and I see the rest of her family, I tightly clutch the Emory figurine and whisper to Blair. "I can't do this Blair."
"You can do this sweetie" he whispers back. I sigh and walk up on stage trembling and softly sobbing. "Hello District 11, um.. I'd like to talk about a girl who, well, meant a lot to me, I only knew here for a day but she was a wonderful friend. And I send out my condolences to ber family and I made you this." I bend down and the woman who was Em's mother receives the Emory statuette. I wipe the tears off of my face and walk inside the train. I rest my head on Blair's shoulder. "I just wanna go home."
"I know."
"How do I stop the pain?"
"You take your mind off it." I walk over to the snack table and gaze longingly at the strong alcohol. "No," I say to myself. "I will not become that." I think of District 12s mentor, Haymitch Abernathy. With his mentoring skills, District 12 will never have another victor, I don't want that for the people of District 7.
