"Jace... I think we should break up." I said. "What?" He asked. "You want to marry me?"

"No... Jace."

He laughed at his own joke, but I could see in his eyes that sadness was taking over.

"It's just that some things about me are not human and there are things you don't understand about this." I explaind. "It's alright. I get it." He whispered and walked off.

I sighed, feeling guilty. I walked back to the kitchen where Alexander was. "Hey." He said, wrapping his arms around me. I buried my face in his chest, trying to forget about what happened.

"It's okay..." He patted my back. I just felt so guilty... but I knew I had to give Alexander a chance. I mean, he's my mate. Soulmate to be exact. I can't just give up my soulmate without giving him a chance can I?

I sighed and pulled my face away from his chest and smiled weakly at him. "Thank you for saving me yesterday..." I whispered. "Why wouldn't I save you?" I smiled again.

"Alex." I said, suddenly remembering what I had to do. "Yes babe?" He asked. "I need to go back home." I told him. He furrowed his eyebrows. "Firstly, you are home. Secondly, it is too dangerous to go out." I smiled.

"Why?" He asked, wqnting to know more. "Something I was meant to find. What my mum told me to before I got kicked out."

"Can you wait a few days before leaving? I want to mark you before we leave..." He asked, holding my hands in his and giving me puppy eyes. I sighed and said, "Fine. But what do you mean by marking me?" I'm not a property! Neither do I want a dog to pee on me!" I scolded him a little.

"Babe... marking you means that I bite you here" he put his finger where my shoulder and neck met "and show everyone that you are mine. That you belong to me." He explained. "And I'm a wolf, not a dog! There's a huge difference!" He whined. I nodded my head and laughed a little. "Will it hurt?"I questioned, a little worried because I'm getting bitten by a werewolf. "A little. Only for a few seconds."

"O-Ok...I will wait a few days." He smiled and hugged me.

We spent the next half of the day cuddling and watching movies and netflix. It was comforting to have him near him. He told me its the mate pull. That only he would be able to comfort me and make me feel safe.

We went to sleep in Alexander's room again and I was woken up early the next morning. "Babe... Wake up." I groaned and flipped onto my left side to sleep again. "Babe..." someone called again. I groaned and shout, "Go away before I get up and kill ya!" I heard a chuckle before the blanket was pulled off of me and someone touched me. I jumped at the cold and got out of bed growling at Alexander. "WHY?!" I growled at him. His eyes widened in realisation that I was serious about killing him and backed off, hands up in the air in mock surrender.

"I-I'm sorry..." He gulped and stuttered. I growled at him before getting back into bed and falling back onto my pillow, pulling the blanket back onto me. I tried to sleep again and I would be asleep if not for the constant poking I felt in my back which was getting very annoying. I let out a feral growl out of nowhere in annoyance and I heard a loud gulp.

I sighed and got up, knowing that I wouldn't be able to sleep again. I got up and went to the bathroom to wash my face. Arms wrapped around my waist. "I'm sorry babe..." He mumbled into my back. I dried my face and turned around to face him. "Yea...You're not forgiven." I panned out and walked out of the bathroom after unwrapping his arms from around me, walking to the kitchen which was downstairs.

I grabbed the cereal I found on the table and poured some into a bowl, filling it with milk. I quickly ate, gobbling down the food before going to check on the kids.

I found most of them outside playing with the were kids who were in their wolves chasing them around. Some of the older ones were playing with the baby wolves who were born wolves and would shift to human when they are a year and a half old. These babies' wolves would then become dormant in them until they turn 16. That was what Alex told me.

I sighed and went back into the room, asking a female who I think is his sister because she stayed in the room opposite ours-I mean... his room- for some shorts and a pair of sports bra. I quickly changed into them and went down to the running track I found while looking around for a place to run in the forest.  I started stretching and saw Alex next to the track training some poeple. Or should I say weres. He looked at me and I heard him growl but I just ignored him and started running. I was only just running past the 100 metre point when Alex caught up and started running next to me. He quickly pulled his shirt off while running and pulled it over my head. The shirt fell down my sides because he was so much bigger than me. "What the hell?!" I shouted at him. I took the shirt off and threw it back at him before running even faster. He must have not wanted to piss me off even more than he did because he didn't come chasing after me.

When I finished 5km, I went over to the gym they had and started lifting weights. After about half an hour at the gym, I decided I had enough seeing that I was covered in sweat from head to toe.

I back to the house and up the stairs to Alex's room to take a nice...long...bath. I put on a strapped dress that went around my neck.

I went on to eat lunch and pla with the younger ones before turning in that night.

I felt a kiss on my forehead and someone whispering "Good night, love." before I fell into darkness.
