Chapter 15 : She's Leaving

"She's..." Baekhyun dropped the note. He looked at it as it slowly hit the floor. His chest burned and it feels extraordinary to have such feelings.

He runs from the closet and sprint towards the basement, driving himself to the airport. He do realized that this is going to determine his future ahead. Whether he's going to spend the rest of his time, alone again, without her. Just like before. Or the other way around.

Every single painful memories run through his head. How he tried to proposed to her after he received the call from Bomi. Saying that she was pregnant and she had to leave because of her parents.

Now, it was as if those days were about to happen again. As if the world was rewinding.

Baekhyun checked the flights that depart at 8 p.m.

And his lips parted when he sees that San Francisco is the first one to appear.

Baekhyun looked at his watch.

7:38 pm

"Come on, come on!!!" He abruptly stopped the car as the traffic light turns red.

"God damn it!!" He muttered under his breath and punch the steering wheel in front of him.

"Please, please!!" He thought that she should be boarding by now. But nothing could stop him from stopping her. The plane didn't depart yet. He still has a chance.

7:55

Baekhyun finally arrived at the airport. He didn't even spare a breath as he push himself towards the entrance. Looking at the flight scheduled.

"8 p.m. 8 p.m.!! He gritted his teeth scanning through the board.

"San Francisco, 8 p.m. Gate 17!!" He quickly swarm through the crowd and looked at each gate as he passes by.

7:58

"Gate 17!!" He exclaimed and run towards the door but, he was stopped by the lady who was standing at the counter in front of him.

"Please! Let me in! I need to meet someone!"

"Sir! If you have a boarding pass, we are letting you in. But it seems like you don't have one. I'm sorry, sir. The plane will take off in just a few minutes." The lady kept on pushing him as the security guard closed the door.

The moment he closed it, it was as if his world was slowly tearing apart. He lost her. Again. For the second time.

"There's still a minute, please!" Baekhyun pleaded but he was send off flying to the floor by the security guard.

"Sir, if you're being this stubborn, I'm afraid we will have to drag you outside the airport. Please be understanding."

"But-" He let out a deep sigh, closing his eyes. Slowly, hot tears streamed down his cheeks. He just couldn't believe he did it again.

"What have I done?" He threw himself on the chair, grasping a fist of his hair. He already feels devastated. His heart shattered into pieces, like a complete idiot. He leaned his head on the wall, counting the stars out the windows.

"Damn it!" He stomped his feet to the ground and sighed again. He looked at his watch for a few seconds and then he lift his head up again.

"Goodbye, Bomi."

He dragged his feet off the ground, feeling all heavy. Just one glance, he saw a familiar figure sitting beside an old man near the vending machine. He thought he was wrong. He approached the person, his sight became blurry as tears welled up in his eyes.

"BOMI!!!!!" He gasped. Bomi lifted her head up, her eyes ten times bigger.

"Baekhyun? What are you-" The rest of her words were cut off when Baekhyun pulled her into a very tight hug. He kissed her forehead and hug her again, insist to let go.

"I thought you already left..." His voice cracked, tears constantly fell down, wetting his cheeks. Bomi was loss for words. In just a moment, she remembered the scene of him with Taeyeon from earlier.

"What are you doing here? You should just stay at home with Dohyun and your wife." Her voice came out a little higher than usual.

"Bomi, I-"

"Forget it. That was so stupid of me to think that you were-" Baekhyun put his finger on her lips, hushing her.

"I came back for you. That's why I'm here." He said, looking deeply into her eyes. He hug her waist, closing the distance.

"And I thought I'm going to lose you again." He kissed her nose, caressing her cheek.

"It isn't right to cheat on-" Once again, Baekhyun hush her.

"Bomi, Taeyeon and I already parted ways. Just today, we said goodbye to each other. She's getting back together with her ex-husband."

"Ex-husband?" She question. He nodded, smiling from ear to ear just seeing her confused face. He thought that she was so cute with those wondering eyes, her lips parted a little. It just makes him so excited to taste those lips again. [A/N : Oppsy 😶😄]

"I will explain from A to Z at home." He grabbed the handle and pulled her luggage.

"Promise me to not run away again. Next time, I'm going to chase you even if it's the end of the world." He sternly said and held her wrist with his free hand.

"I won't. I promise." Bomi smile and follow his lead. Seeing her again was like a miracle for Baekhyun. He was be able to touch her again, kiss her lips, and hug her like there's no tomorrow.

"I saw the pregnancy kit." Baekhyun smiled.

"Huh?"

"That you're pregnant again." He rest his forehead on her.

"I was shocked, to be honest." Bomi rubbed her belly.

"This is going to be our second child!" Baekhyun exclaimed excitedly.

"You're too excited..." Bomi chuckled and he suddenly stop, causing Bomi to bump into him.

"But seriously though, you're going to get a punishment tonight." Baekhyun smirked.

"P-Punishment? Baekhyun, I'm already pregnant!" Bomi said. His smirk faded, as he started laughing.

"Your punishment, as in your cooking for Dohyun and I tonight!" He said, trying to contain his laughter.

Bomi's whole face turned red, as Baekhyun just continued laughing his butt off.

"But now that you mentioned it, want that punishment, too?" Baekhyun winked. Bomi widen her eyes and smacked Baekhyun on the arm.

"Pervert!"

Baekhyun grinned before giving her a peck on the lips.

"At least I'm a pervert for you..."
