Jack Gilinsky live in a tour bus. As a musician, he tend to move place to place and time to time. Busy schedule leave him not time for romance relationship.
But he thought wrong.
He met a classy girl from a small town in southwest Sheffield. When Ja...
I smile as I saw some sweet comments under my new post. They are so sweet and supportive. I'm really glad that I reached my goal since day one I've work hard to be here right now. It's trully a blessing.
"Boy, you are creeping me out." Andrew pat my shoulder and sit down beside me.
I look up from my phone screen and averted my gaze to him. "I'm just reading comments on Instagram. They are just--" I stop midway, because I can't even find the right word to describe them. But they are pretty wild.
"Thirsty and sexual?" Andrew arch an eyebrow at me.
I smile awkwardly and nodding my head slowly. It's basically that, but they are very nice and smooth.
Andrew let out a dry laugh. Making me more uncomfortable with the situation. I don't really like to describe them like that, sometimes they are sweet and some other time they are thirsty as hell.
"Let's grab a coffee." Andrew suggested.
"Good idea. Let me grab my coat." I stand up and walk to the back of the bus. I grab the coat from the bed and put it on while I make my way out of the bus.
Andrew waited for me outside of the bus. I watch him taking his phone call. But he eyed me to keep walking. So we walk down the street from the parking lot.
We are on a break at the moment before we continue to our next destination. We still have two hours left to go until we reach Birmingham.
Bruce coffee & milk
I open the door for the coffe shop and hold it longer for Andrew. As Andrew get a hold of the door, I let go. The coffee shop is not too crowded, there is just a few people in here.
I can spot fan girls in here once I walked in, but I just smile at them while I make my way to the cashier.
"Hey, how can I help you with?" The cashier girl asks me with a bright smile.
"I would like to get a cinnamon pretzel and freddo espresso iced. What are you getting?" I turn to Andrew.
"Just a basic cappuccino and creme donut."
"Okay. That would be €34.6 for all." I take my wallet out from my coat pocket and handed her the money. She process the transaction and I wait for my change.
"Here you go. Please wait at the side." She gesture to the pick up line at the side. Andrew and I move, so we can give the other customers space to order theirs.
"Your coffees, pretzel and donut." The other worker gave me our orders. "Can I take a picture with you?" The girl ask me shyly.
"Sure." I smile at her.
She pull out her phone from the front of her apron. "Here." I take her phone and took some pictures of us. There is counter between us, but she tried to be as close as possible to me.
"Thank you."
"No worries." I said and take my coffee and pretzel before getting out of the coffee shop.
"You got some fans out here." Andrew chuckles as he take a sip of his coffee. We walk while enjoying the windy weather in London. That's why I chose to wore a coat.
"I don't even know." I carry on with his joke.
We walks wihout a destination, we weren't ready to go back to the bus. I still need some air. The bus is suffocating me. I feel like I'm trapped in the bus, but I love it every single moments.
Andrew have been supportive with me. He is patient with me through out my journey. He is my uncle after all, my family trust him to taking care of me.
We end up in the park, still close with the bus. Andrew and I sit on the bench near a pond. Sipping my drink, I look towards the kids playing on the playground area with their mothers watching.
I used to play like that with my best friends or so I thought.
I still remember clearly the day I have to leave town. I was saying good byes to the very close friend of mine. His house literally just across from mine. But I'm not sure if he was too shock or is it really who he is throughout our friendship.
I still remember his exact words, fresh like it happened yesterday.
"Then leave. I don't care if you leave or even dead. You are selfish just like them. Leave and don't even try to contact me anymore."
That was the hurtful things he'd ever said to me. He was like my other half and when he said that, I feel like I lost my other half and best friend too. And it's been three years since then. I never once come back to my hometown, it's always my family that come to visit me in Los Angeles.
I overstay myself in Los Angeles and I'm enjoying the life I have now. I'm just trying to live what I have earn with my own hard work.
From the experience, I have to sort the people I associate with. I tried to get to know what are their intention to get close to me. One day, I met Shawn. He was a guest at a show on tv with me. He played guitar just like me, but we had different genres in music.
While he is more into pop music, I am more into country and a little bit of pop. I like a slow and soft instrument. It gives me chill vibes everytime I hear them.
"You still remembering his words." He stated.
"Of course. How could I not?" I look away from the kids to Andrew. But my eyes not looking at him, but something behind him.
"Let's go to Starbucks. I'm going to treat the others with a coffee before we go." I said, standing up from my seat.
"You are a kind guy, Jack. Don't ever let the other take you for guaranteed." Andrew said, standing up and patted my right shoulder.
"I won't. I just still can't erase those words he said to me a day before I left. I thought I saw his silhouette above in his bedroom. Was I just imagining it?" The talk about him won't ever stop until I finally accept it.
"Jack, stop. If it's hurting you, then you should stop talking about it. It's not the right time to think about it. Just focus on your tour. Don't stressed out too much." I nodded my head.
I buy ten drinks for the others at Starbucks. I bought the same drinks just to be fair for everyone. I held one, while Andrew held two of cup holder.
We walk back to the bus and give everyone the drinks.
I forgot my phone on my bunk bed. It lies there with my other things like laptop, headphone and a note along with pen and pencil.
At the same time I sitted my ass on the bed, my phone light up. I look at the screen and shock to see the name on it. Is it possible?
"It's been a long time."
