{AOT} Hanging By A Thread [Complete]

Chapter 2

***1 MONTH LATER***

It's been a month since your capture and here is what you mostly did, sit through a long ass carriage ride, sit in a cell for a few days, faced a tedious court trial where you got dirty looks from the military police, tried on way too many uniforms, and lastly had to study a handbook and the recon corp.

***PRESENT TIME***

     You just sat in a carriage with two men for three hours straight just to be surrounded by more men. (hurray) As soon the carriage can to a stop you were the first one out. When your feet had hit the floor you had stretched out your arms and legs. When you did that, there was a lot of cracking and popping sounds. It felt amazing to you while Erwin and Miche just looked at you with disgust. You were close to smiling at there reaction but, you reminded your self that you aren't there to make friends. You are there so you don't get killed. 

     Instead, you shrugged it off and walked into the HQ. Erwin and Miche were close behind you. You stopped walking when you reach a set of doors that read "MESS HALL", "We going I here?" you question. They both nod and open the doors. Sure enough, the room was full of men, but they looked a lot nicer than the ones from where you're from. As the doors shut the whole room went silent. Then there were light mumbles. Then there was a lot of people staring at you. Bottom line, it was irritating. All you had to do was give the same glare you gave to my military police to them and the room was dead silent. Until Erwin spoke up," Cadets, Id like to introduce our first female cadet, (Y/N). Please treat her with respect. Now I need two people to show her the ropes for a few months. A cadet and Squad leader. Any volunteers?" Almost everyone raised their hands. You shot them all another glare and everyone in the whole room put their hands back down, except for one. A tall man with a blond buzz cut. "Why thank you, Reiner, for volunteering, please come up here. and for the Squad Leader choice why don't we go with... Levi. You two please step up here." 

     You scanned the room for the other man. Then in the whole silent room, you heard a "TCH" from the a short, angry.... gnome thingy stood up and walk towards you next to this green giant size person. (picture it...) It took everything you had to not to burst out laughing. Your face then went back to serious when Erwin started talking," You two are to show her the ropes got it? Answer any questions she has." With that, we all leave together but Erwin and Miche went left as you guys went right to find your office. It was easy to find because it was right next to Levi's. As you got there you couldn't get the door to open because of how old the lock was. After a few minutes of fiddling with it you gave a loud sigh and tried again only this time you felt another body press against yours, and arms wrap around yours with a voice," Here let me help you." 

     Then he takes his hands around yours and unlocks the door for you. After its open, you turn around, and in a tone of death say, " Try that again and ill make sure that you lose at least one limb got it?" Then you walk into your office and look around. As you look out the window you hear a "TCH" sound from the angry gnome. You turn around and ask him, " Got some beef you wanna settle little man?" Then you heard a muffled laugh from Reiner but brush past it as you walk up to the angry gnome. "Do Ya?" you question. "Not quite, out of all the people in the walls why the hell were you chosen for this spot. Shouldn't you be in a maid outfit cleaning the dishes or something?" Anger was fuming from you. you picked up the angry gnome by the neck and slammed him against a bookshelf, "Listen here you little gnome, I'm not one who should be taken lightly got it? And let's make this crystal clearer, call me a maid again imma call you a dead man understood?" 

     Before you could say anything else you felt two arms wrap under yours and pull you away from the now coughing gnome. You look up and notice that its Reiner. You shake out of his grasp and turn to face him," If you are supposed to help me then start by removing that sexist gnome from my office got it!!!" You watched as all the color drained from his face and as he picked up the now unconscious Levi and leave the room. You slump down into a chair and pick up a random book and started reading it. It wasn't long until your eyelids started to droop and you fell asleep.

***4HOURS LATER***

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*

     You were awakened by the sound and remembered where you were. You decided not to answer the door and go back to sleep because you didn't feel like talking to anyone. The moment you reclosed your eyes was when the door opened. You were sure as hell not gonna open your eyes. Then you heard the door shut again. You thought that the person had left the room when you heard the sound of footsteps come near you. You could've opened your eyes but didn't because you wanted to see how this would play out. The footsteps came all the way up to the chair. Then you felt breathing on you're facing. At that moment you had enough. 

     You sprung out of your chair at the intruder and pinned them to the floor. You looked down and realized that the person under you was Levi who had huge eyes. You rolled your eyes when you found out it was just him. You got off of him and sat back down in your chair, picked up the book and said," I don't think I said come in did I?" Levi sat up and dusted himself off and said," No you didn't but I came in here to tell you something." you look up from your book and look at him, "Okay then what is it?" He crosses his arms and says," Its time for dinner." You look back down at your book and say, "That's nice but I'm not hungry. So unless you have something else to tell me then leave." Then you hear footsteps come towards you instead of away from you. You look up, but it's too late to stop Levi from pinning to in the chair. You keep a straight face as he speaks to you, " Ya, I have one last thing to tell you, you better watch your back." he says in a low husky tone. Your eyes widen quite a bit and say, " EXCUSE ME!" In a cocky tone, he says, "Here, let me show you what I mean by that." he leans further into your personal space, closing in on your face. Like second nature you give him an uppercut straight to the jaw which causes him to fall backward. You get up and walk over to him, bend down and grab him by the collar of his shirt and say, " I'm not here to be a sex doll. I'm here to live. GOT IT!" you let him go with a little force to push him down then leave your office to go to the mess hall.
