"Rebecca!". Tony shouted amidst the haze. From the side of my eye I saw him hit the beast with a rock, that seemed to distract it but it's attention was on Tony. I noticed that half the girls had run off and Richard was wrestling a werewolf, attempting to stab it.

I yanked my knife from my bag and charged to the one about to pummel Tony. In blind rage and frustration, I jumped onto it's back and stabbed. I didn't look at where I stabbed, I just did. Tony had gotten to his feet and given the last blow. As it died, the werewolf shifted to its human form. In the end, my hands were caked in blood. I never knew I would have the heart to kill, but I guess seeing someone you care about in such a situation does things to people.

"Are you okay?". He asked and I nodded as I felt the buzz die off. Richard had killed the other one but he had injuries. He limped towards us.

"I think I twisted my ankle". He said as he sat down.

"Let me see" I said as I got down beside him. He hissed as I touched it but his expression changed and soon, he was on his feet.

"Wow". He gushed. "You are a miracle worker". He said as he walked around on the ankle.

"It was no stress". I replied.

"Where do you suppose the girls ran off to?". Tony asked no one exactly.

"Up here!". A voice called from the sky.

I furrowed my brows as I looked up and found eyes peering down at me.
"I never knew you guys were so athletic". Richard commented as they came down from the trees.

"Neither did we!" Alexa grinned.

"So where to from here?". Catherine asked.

"We keep moving in the direction we were going. Hopefully, we'll find a stream and wash off all this blood and dirt". Richard said as he dusted his clothes.

"Our supplies have diminished after that attack. The bags have been crushed we'll be living on scraps". Judith noted.

"Yes, but we need to keep moving. This location isn't exactly safe, other werewolves might catch a whiff of these ones and they'll be on our trail". Richard said as he prodded the dead bodies with his foot.

"Let's go". Tony said conclusively and we all moved to gather what was left of our bags. I picked up the bloody knife and cleaned it with a rag. Anxious to see what was left of my bag, I yanked it open. There was a change of clothes, a few fruits I picked survived but that was all.

Sadly, I put it on my back and joined the group as we started moving again. Everyone seemed more alert, expecting a wolf or some horror to jump out at any moment. Even Tony didn't seem to want to talk anymore.
After a few hours, my feet couldn't take it anymore.
"I think we should camp here for the night". I said and a few grumbles supported me. Richard finally caved and we started a fire.

As everyone settled around, Tony wandered away from the group. Curiously, I followed him, careful not to make a sound. After a while, he seemed to be exploring the area.

"I know you've been following me" he said casually not turning to look at me.

Red as a tomato, I walked to his side.
"Sorry. I was just curious". I say staring at the ground.

"Come on. I think there should be s stream around here". Tony says as he holds my hand.

"Oh"

After pushing past brushes, we found it. He was right, there really was.
"Here we are". He says beaming.

"You have no idea how much my body wants to get into that water". I said.

"I should give you some time". Tony said awkwardly.

"I'd appreciate that. Could you get me some fresh clothes from my bag?".

"Sure. I'll go tell the others". He said before jogging off in the direction we came.

After I was sure he was out of sight, I pulled off my dirty clothes. Testing the water with my foot, I shuddered at the cold. But I shrugged and stepped in fully. I waded to the center, my feet brushing wet rocks. The water stopped a little bit above my chest. With a deep breath I plunged below the surface and came out again.
Knowing that Tony would be back soon, I hurried up with washing myself, giving my bloodied hands special attention.

I almost screamed my head off as I saw Tony standing behind me with my clothes in his hands. He struggled to keep his eyes on my face, not that he would see anything if they trailed lower. Hopefully.

"Just drop them there and I'll need you to turn around". I said and watched as he dropped them and turned around. Sure that he wasn't looking, I hurried out of the water and threw the clothes on. I had never dressed so fast in my life.

"I'm decent".

"Um... I should wash myself.. uh..too". Tony said avoiding my eyes.
I nodded and almost ran off. I was too awkward for my own good.

I know it's not exactly my best chapter. It's just a filler and it's super short.
Put down your pitchforks.
Been busy with exams and all. I'm having biology exams tomorrow, so wish me luck.
