3rd Person POV (This is just to help capture every moment)

"Alright. Up, get up! Every single one of you!". A voice said unnecessarily loud, waking Rebecca from her unexpected slumber. Around her the other girls stirred, groaning as guards yanked them to their feet. As they led them to the twelve poles, Rebecca became aware of her fate again as she saw the horseman and his cohorts. She could almost imagine him grinning. Almost.

"Let me go". Rebecca muttered as she put up resistance, but the man pulling her was stronger so her efforts were futile. She gave him a hard time as he tied her legs and hands to the pole, he had called for extra hands. The other girls wore expressions similar to hers as the horseman stepped forward. Fear.

"The moment we've all been waiting for is here. Twelve years ago, I set this plan into motion and today, we shall see it come to an end". He said with his hands spread. Dressed for the occasion, he had ditched the suit of armour and had worn dark robes.

Five priests dressed in black approached the middle, where wood and sticks had been laid in preparation for the fire. Rebecca watched silently as they laid the horseman on a table. One of them had started the fire and the one who seemed like the eldest had a book in his hand.

"From far and wide hear me speak". He said in a loud voice and Rebecca felt something click in her, she shut her eyes.
"The head of the horseman do I seek. Take this twelve as a replacement for it, And deliver it to the horseman, where it shall always be"

Rebecca's eyes shot open as she felt a tug in her, the other girls seemed to be experiencing the same thing. But there was an opposite force fighting, drawing her soul back to her body. The priests were unaware of this.

"For as the sun shines, so do the stars shine. Oh that you keep them out and darkness may roam about. For none compares to the head of my master"

A scream echoed through the room as he said the last word. All heads turned to Rebecca. The priests stopped their chanting and even the runaway souls from the other girls, stopped in their tracks.  Her chest heaved and her head rolled back. She screamed again, panting.

"You've played with fire". Prince George said, chuckling calmly. "You missed an important detail. Do you know why no one ever uses girls from our realm?". Rebecca screamed again.

The horseman who had sat up replied. "Of course. Magic runs through them, whoever uses a maiden controlled by magic shall be cursed".

"She's a witch. She wields magic". Prince George said and all eyes rested on Rebecca. The white if her eyes had turned red and she was watching everyone. She screamed again, arching her back on the pole, closing her eyes as she felt the two conflicting forces.

But the scene she opened her eyes to was slightly different. The room was disintegrating and so were the guests and other materials. Wide eyed, Rebecca looked at the horseman. He was on his knees, screaming in pain. Just then, Tony and Richard ran into the room, they too faded away. A very strong blew away the particles and Rebecca had to close her eyes.

When she opened them, she was alone. The pole she was tied to was nowhere to be found, the walls and roof had been blown off, allowing the moon shine it's light on her. She walked around.

Where to now? She thought.

As though on cue, she was engulfed by a blinding light, so bright it would have put the sun to shame. Rebecca felt herself spiralling, falling, ever so slowly. Then her back hit something, she opened her eyes.

There may be two more chapters left for the book.
Don't hate on me, cause I'm already feeling guilty for not telling you sooner.
Anyway, it was originally supposed to be a short story, like 10 chapters.
But stuff happened.
