Back In The Den

Throughout the journey back, I had to shield my face and close my mouth so I wouldn't swallow bugs. The vampire clutched me with only one hand, carrying me effortlessly as he ran. My red hair whipped in the wind and I heard him curse on several occasions. More vampires and Werewolves ran ahead and behind us the whole time, others serving as transport for the other girls, including Richard and Tony.

There were times when they stopped to let the wolves catch their breaths. This entailed them changing to their human forms and walking around bare chested, an activity majority of the girls seemed to enjoy. But I couldn't calm myself through all that, we were about to loose our souls. We had to get out of this somehow.

All hope faded when they didn't make any stopovers again and the castle came into view with the moon as a backdrop. A journey which had taken us three days had only taken them three hours.

The vampire dropped me on the floor and walked away with a growl. Before we could blink, our hands were bound and we were being led into the throne room. And as the horseman approached, we were shoved to our knees. I'd been here for who knows how long, but I hadn't gotten used to his mist spitting neck. I never will.

"You really thought you could escape?". He laughed. "I rule this realm. You can't escape me. Tie them up and inform the priests. I want this done as soon as possible, we can't waste anymore time".

"What about the males?". A guard asked the horseman.

"Keep them nearby, we'll deal with them later".

After he left, we were led into a room with a dome shaped roof. The huge room had twelve erect poles and what looked like a fireplace in the middle. We huddled close to each other but no one spoke. The guards eventually grew bored of us and left.

Someone sighed. "So this is it? This is how I'm going to end"

"There's a lot of things I wanted to do before I go". Alexa said. "I wonder where our souls will go"

Vanessa snorted. "Definitely not heaven that's for sure". That brought a little light into the room.

We fell into a hush as Prince George walked into the room in all his Princely glory, dressed as extravagant as always, with his hands behind him. I stared at my toes.

"I really hoped you girls could've gotten away". His voice was almost a whisper. "But things happen for a reason". I felt his gaze on me and I forced myself to look up. Sure enough, his fiery eyes were trained on me.

He continued, now staring at me unabashedly. "Don't hold back whatever you feel, let it out. Just feel the power flow, you'll be glad you did. The horseman won't know what's coming at him"

He left us with the cryptic message, leaving me confused and the other girls even more confused.

"What was that supposed to mean?". Kristina asked.

"I don't know, but we'll just have to wait". I replied.
