Freya, designed after my cinnamon bun _Carry_On, is the peppiest and most cheerful Merblade, almost bordering on a Mary Sue-esq character. However, at random moments she will say something completely morbid or deep that will make all of the Merblades pause to contemplate the meaning or existence and the cruelty of reality.
For example:
*Conversation about geese*
Rey: Do you ever think that life is just a monotonous march into some distant unknowable void?
Merblades: *silence*
Rey: We've sure been having lovely weather recently.
Despite her weird quirks, Rey is definitely one of the more lovable Merblades, a lot gentler and more open to making friends than the others.
