WARNING: NEGATIVE THINKING ON SELF
LAURENS POV
Hamilton was pulled aside by a girl I had seen earlier, Angelica, I think... "Where are you taking me?" He asked her kindly, that same handsome smile on his face as always. "I'm about to change your life." Angelica responded. "Then by all means, lead the way!" Alex spoke with a light chuckle as he was pulled into the happy crowd. Someday he would love me, I knew it...I took another sip and let my mind wander once more. Would Alex like me? A person...like me? A...gay?
I shook my head, feeling the burning tears. My own father let me know I was a bad kind of person...strange and unworthy of love. I didn't want to believe that. I wanted to be worthy and normal, but I couldn't just...change!
"John, look! Alex finally got a girl." Hercules said, breaking me from my painful thoughts. But what I saw and heard was worse. Alexander...MY ALEXANDER, was kissing Eliza. My heart felt like it was burning, like someone had held it to a candle. Despair...no....anger...no...sorrow...no...fear...no...depression...an understatement.
