A MONTH LATER
Trigger Warning: Mental Disorders, swearing
John's POV
"So, I would like you to take these pills. They'll help with your anger problems and hopefully calm you down." My therapist said, handing me a box of pills. "Also, I would like you to continue visiting me once a week until I believe you're doing better." He added.
I stared down at the pills. 'There's nothing wrong with me...I don't need these.' I thought. "Uh, sure..." I replied absentmindedly. "John, I think you have Major Depressive Disorder." He told me with a serious, sorrowful look on his face.
I looked at him in shock. "That can't be right." I murmured, my mind swirling with many thoughts. Pained thoughts. "I believe it is John." He responded.
Eliza's POV
I sat on the couch beside my beloved fiancé, reading through book after book, as I had been doing for 4 hours straight. "Are you sure you don't want some tea?" He asked again, anxiety in his voice. I chuckled, he had been asking me that for days. "Fine, Alexander. I'll have some tea."
He gave a little, "Yes!", under his breath before racing to the kitchen. I smiled, he truly did care about me. I looked back down at my book, it was called "What To Expect When You're Expecting". It was helpful.
I wrote down more in my journal, I wanted to record everything all throughout my pregnancy, so I could keep it forever. Angelica didn't know I was pregnant yet, she'd scold me for being so young, but I did tell Peggy.
She had sent me all these books, and a plate of cookies. She was coming to visit today, with Angelica. I would have to tell Angelica at dinner tonight.
I had already finished 2 books, including the one I had just finished now. Alexander came out of the kitchen and handed me a steaming cup of tea. "Drink up, it's good for you!" He encouraged with a grin. I smiled back and took a sip. It ran down my throat easily, and I had to admit I loved it.KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
Alexander got up and opened the door, my sisters coming into the room. Peggy and I exchanged nervous glances. "Hello, Alex. And Eliza!" Angelica exclaimed, rushing over to give me a hug, not noticing as I used my foot to slide the books under the couch. "Hi!" I said, hugging her back. I stood up and took out the turkey from the oven. "Alex made this for us to enjoy." I announced.
Peggy smiled at Alex, who nervously smiled back. "Angelica I'm pregnant and me and Alex are getting married!" I blurted, slapping a hand over my mouth. Alex almost dropped his plate and gaped at me. Peggy stared at her feet.
"Alex and I." Angelica corrected. I looked at her in shock. 'Grammar?!? Seriously?' I thought. "You aren't at all shocked?" I asked her softly, and she shook her head. "I expected a tomcat like Alex wouldn't wait long." Angelica teased with a wink at Alex, who looked at his plate with a blush that made his face look like a tomato.
I burst out laughing. "I'm so relieved! I thought you'd be furious at me." I admitted, rushing over to hug her. She hugged me tightly. "I'm not angry, but I am extremely happy!" Angelica laughed.
