I hear them as they walk in the lobby, the clanking of metal as the walked. This is very peculiar, I think to myself why people would be in the hotel, I mean, they shut it down and made everyone leave just a few hours earlier. I am so confused right now. "Stay right here, don't move," I tell the kids. "I'm going to check it out," I continue. "Be careful," Sally says. "I will," I promise her. "keep Jake down here for me please?" I ask her, and then I make my way to the stairs.

I'm walking up to the first level when all of a sudden, I hear "Okay, let's set up base first, before it gets too dark." Set up base? What? I continue up the stairs, confused why a guy would be saying "Set up base" to someone else. Apparently there was more than one person in the building. I reach the top of the stairs and peek around the corner, and then I realize that I'm a ghost and don't need to be sneaking around, so I just step out from around the wall.

"Oh my God, Jordan, someone, I think from how old she looks it's Lily, is right behind you!" This stranger, apparently he can see me! I go back and hide behind the wall. "Where, Xander? Tell me where the hell she is!" So, I have their names, the one who can see me is Xander and his friend is Jordan. I'm hiding behind the wall, scared to even breathe now. Nobody has ever been able to see me before! I realize that this could be good or bad, I don't know what they want with me, they could want to hurt me, or the kids! I have to protect the kids.

"Lily, is that you?" I hear Xander say. "How...how do you know my name?" I ask him. "What do you want with us?" I continue to question him. If he can see me I might as well ask questions. "We're just here to talk to you, we aren't here to hurt you or anything, there's no reason to be afraid of us," he said. That was a relief, at least the kids were safe, though i was still a little reluctant and hesitant to tell them that they could come upstairs. "Okay," was all I could think to say at the moment, to myself it even sounded stupid.

"Lily, do you know where Jake and Sally are? We'd like to talk to them too, if you don't mind," he added the last part like i was going to jump on him for asking about them. I probably would have if he hadn't reassured me that all he wanted to do was talk. "Um, yeah, let me go get them," I said, still hesitant a little bit. Then I made my way back down the stairs.
