I stared into yet another school assembly. There have been about 9 in the past month, 6 about suicide and 3 about drunk driving. It's driving me absolutely insane. Zach, Clay, and Tony are the only people who are keeping me from going insane. But, I guess that's what friends are for, right?
"Are you more of a beer person or a beer person?" Clay smiled at Hannah, who was sitting on the couch. I 'awe'd at them, as we were waiting for the games to start.
"Who's ready for some suck and blow?" someone cheered into the megaphone and everyone cheered.
"Hey, are you guys going to play?" I sat down next to Hannah and received a shrug.
"Come on, Jensen," Jeff blew at his hair. "Gabi and I are playing." Clay rolled his eyes and smiled under a thin layer of blush.
"Hannah, come on!" she shook her head laughing, and I groaned.
"You're missing out." the card was coming around and we waited. Jeff finally had the card, and I started laughing when I looked at him. He kept making sounds, trying to tell me, he was going to drop the card, until it finally happened. He groaned and pushed me over onto the couch, me still laughing. He inclined into a kiss and we both smiled, everyone was laughing and making other noises in the background.
"Woah, woah, Jeff." Clay laughed awkwardly and moved out of the way of our lean.
"I guess we lost." I laughed a little, still in the same position.
"I guess we did." he tackled me for another kiss, and I started laughing a lot more.
"Gabi, Gabi!" the teacher caught me from my thoughts.
"Huh? I'm sorry...."
"What's the answer?" I tried to think if I heard the question, but I stirred nervously.
"Uh, I-I don't know..."
"Pay attention," Courtney Crimson glared at me and ended up raising her hand like always, getting the answer correct. I looked down, drifting in and out of thought.
