Visiting Shouyo

Chapter 5: Elated

Hours passed. Game after game. Kenma was focused what Shoyo's house would be like rather than the games, causing the team's performance to deteriorate.

"Kenma! Stop fantasizing about your boyfriend and set the ball right." Kuroo nagged.

"He's not my boyfriend, I'm not into guys" Kenma lied.

Kuroo snickered. "Yeah okay."

Kenma fumed and turned away, face beet red.

"Asshole..." he mumbled

"What was that Kenma?" Kuroo shouted.

"Nothing" Kenma snapped

Kuroo patted his back, "it's okay. I've seen a few weenies in my life, nothin' to be ashamed of!" Kuroo insisted.

"Shut up. I'm not into guys, I don't need to know the information you just gave me, and for the LAST TIME, I'm straight." Kenma said, annoyed.

Another hour passed, a loud whistle blew.

One of the referees stood on a chair. Okay, that's all for today! I will recite the lineup for tomorrow's games.

The referee proceeded to name which teams would play against each other the following day.

Kenma sifted through the crowd to find Hinata.

I bright Orange poof lunged toward the blonde-haired boy.

"Gwaaaah! Kenmaaaaa!!" Shouted Hinata, pinning Kenma onto the wooden floor.

Kenma instinctively wrapped his arms around Hinata and flipped him over, slamming him onto the ground. Hinata looked up in a daze.

"Well what was that for?" Hinata asked. Kenma realized his mistake.

"A-ah, crap... sorry Shoyo, Kuro used to attack me and pull my hair when we were younger, it's a bad habi-"

Kenma was stopped by two arms wrapping around him and pulling him down for a warm, tight hug.
Hinata latched on tight.

"It's great to see you! We're gonna have tons of fun tonight!" Hinata said, elated.

Kenma released the tension building up within him with a sigh of pure comfort and security.

"It's nice to see you, Shoyo." Kenma said, standing up and recomposing himself.

Hinata tilted his head, he had never really seen Kenma act like this before.

"Are you feeling well?" Hinata asked worriedly
