Kenma woke up in a cold sweat with people surrounding  him, his head pounding, heart racing. A fuzzy, but oddly familiar voice yells in the distance, "Kenma, wake up! Kenma!"

Suddenly, like a beaming spot light. Kenma's eyes flick open. Hinata is the first figure he can make out.

"Kenma, please, talk to me!" Hinata shouted. "someone get me a cold towel" shouted another, older voice which he didn't recognize.

"Shouyo." Kenma says weakly  trying to sit up.

The confusion stops suddenly. "Guys! He's okay!" Hinata shouts to the others.

"Kenma, you should lay back down. Have you slept? Have you been eating well? You need to take care of yourself!" Hinata urged him, holding his shoulders and gently pushing him back down onto the gymnasium floor.

Kenma closed his eyes and it all went black once more. All was silent, the drama was over.

Hours later, Kenma finds himself inside an unfamiliar setting, in someone else's bed. The sheets smell like Hinata.

Kenma sits up and looks around the room. There are posters of volleyball stars from sports magaiznes messily taped to the wall, clothes scattered around the floor along with stray notebooks and pencils.

"Ah, Kenma-san, you're awake." said an unfamiliar voice, a woman's voice.

Kenma looked up to see a nicely dressed woman with dark amber hair. Behind her stands a small child with orange, poofy hair, just like Shouyo's.

The woman extends her hand to him, "pleased to meet you, Kenma-san. Iv'e heard lots about you from Shouyo! Would you like me to bring you anything? A snack, some water?" she asked, warmly.

"Uhm, i don't mean to be rude but, are you Shouyo's mother?" asked Kenma nervously.

'Indeed I am! That little ball of pure energy is none other than my son!" She said, proudly.

"Uhm, where is he?" Asked Kenma shyly.

"He's back at practice. He called me to come and pick you up, he wanted to come with you but i guess his coach said that he must have a valid reason to leave." she said, shrugging. "...anyways, he should be back in about an hour, make yourself at home, Kenma-san."

Kenma nodded timidly. Mrs. Hinata gave a familiar smile and closed the door. Her smile is just like the one that's plastered to Hinata's face most of the time.

Kenma Finally musters up the strength to get out of bed. He walks around, avoiding the stray pencils and pens sprawled across the room. Kenma opens the blinds and looks outside. A quiet little inter-pass lined with cute little houses can be seen from the window. Kenma opens the door and tries to find Mrs. Hinata.

"Uhm... Mrs. Hinata?" Kenma calls, quietly.

Quickly, The small lady dashes over to him. "yes, sweetie? is something wrong?"

"No- i mean, um, my i use your restroom?" He asks, flustered. "Of course Kenma-san, you don't have to be uncomfortable around me, you're safe here, okay?" said Mrs. Hinata charmingly. "If you need anything, just ask, Kenma-san!" said Natsu, in a high pitched squeak. Kenma smirked.

 "thanks." he said quietly.

"First door down that hallway." said Hinata's Mother.

"What?" asked Kenma.

"you needed the restroom?" said Mrs. Hinata.

"Oh! Right. Sorry." Kenma said, embarrassed. The small woman smiles.

From inside the bathroom, a loud bang  can be heard. muffled, Kenma can hear the sound to of Hinata bounding through the house with Natsu in toe, their mother urging them to slow down. "Shoyou! What did i tell you about slamming the door!" shouted Mrs. Hinata. "Sorry mom! where's Kenma?"

Kenma walks out of the restroom drying his hands on his pajama pants. "Hi, Shouyo."

"Kenma! Do you like my house? Huh? Do you?" Hinata asked, excited as usual.

Before the other boy could say anything, Hinata skipped over to Kenma wrapping him in a warm hug.

"I'm glad you're okay, Kenma" he said quietly.

Kenma felt such warmth and safety in his heart during this long moment which seemed to go on forever. He would never complain, he wished to stay wrapped in Shouyo's arms forever and ever.

"Thanks, Shouyo.. your house is very nice, it feels like home already." Kenma said.

"You two must be very very good friends! Is that right Shouyo?" Hinata's mother asked, laughing a little.

Shouyo nodded and smiled. "Kenma is my best friend in the whole world!" Hinata shouted, dramatically.

Kenma smiles.
