Perrie's POV
"Hey, Pez!" I turn around quickly, to see Jade hanging half out of her car window, waving. "Get in, I'll drive you to school," I start walking briskly toward her car. "Hey, how come you aren't driving yourself today?"
"I dunno, I just kind of felt like walking." I reply as I get in. "Are you picking up Leigh-Anne?"
"No, she's driving herself."

About fifteen minutes later, we've pulled into the school carpark.
"Thank you, Jade." I say "See you later?"
"Yeah, sure. Have a nice day!" Jade replies, as I head into the main building, frantically trying to remember where my first class is.
"Perrie!" a familiar voice yells, causing me to look around, trying to find the source of the voice. "Where's your first class?" I see (Y/N) next to me, so I walk away quickly. "What've I done to you? Why're you running away?"

"Pez! Hey, Pez! Come over here!" Leigh-Anne yells
"Yeah, Perrie! C'mon!" Jade joins in
"Bitches," (Y/N) mutters in defeat, and going back to her 'gang'.
"Sorry 'bout that, Pez." Jade apoligises, and I shrug.

"What's your first class?" Leigh asks

"Music," I say

"Fabulous! That's mine too," Leigh says, before pulling me along the hallway "Bye, Jadey!"
"How come you weren't there yesterday?"
"Uh, no reason." Leigh-Anne replies, blushing slightly. "Anyway, here's the music room." we turn into a room full of musical instruments, and we walk over to 30 or so desks crammed into a corner of the large room, only a few of which are occupied. "This is my usual spot," she says, sitting down at one of the desks in the front row. "I usually sit at the back in other classes, but we'll get stuck with the shitty instruments if we do that here." I nod, understanding her reason.

"Where is everyone?" I ask
"The bell's not gone yet," Leigh says, and as if on cue, the bell went, causing a cascade of teenagers to rush into the room, a few of which swore when they saw Leigh-Anne and I sat at the front.
"Piss off to the back, won't you?" A curly-haired, no-lipped boy says rudely

"Oh, fuck off, mate." Leigh says, flipping him off. "You do realise that there are in fact, seats on either side of me and Perrie?" the boy humphs, before slumping himself into a chair in the row behind us, not wanting to admit defeat. "That's Brad. He's a complete douchebag, so don't let him double cross you." I nod, before noticing that a raven haired girl has sat down next to me.
"Hey there, I'm Lauren. You're new, right?"
"Yes." I answer shyly
"What's your name?"

"I'm Perrie."

"Hello class, and welcome to your second day of the semester." a voice says from the front of the room "As you probably already know, seeing as you were here yesterday,"
"Welp," Leigh says
"I'm Ms. Lovato (A/N I mean, it's not as though every other fanfic set at a school has Demi as a teacher, obviously), and this is music. Ooh, I feel like I'm on Disney. 'I'm Demi Lovato, and this is Disney Channel'," the class chuckles
"She's my favourite teacher," Leigh whispers to me "She's hilarious,"
"I noticed," I mutter back
"Right, seeing as we didn't get around to actually making music yesterday, we're gonna be doing heaps of it today. We're going to start off by making groups. Percussionists over there," she points to the part of the room which is occupied by drum kits, timpany, xylophones and all sorts of other percussion. "Guitarists over there," Leigh and I move to the corner stuffed full of both acoustic and electric guitars, ukeleles and basses. "and pianists over there," Ms. Lovato points to upright and grand pianos, harpsichords and melodicas. "you'll have a teaching assistant to help each group, as I'm going to be helping the singers. If you think you have potential as a singer, then please stand up and come through here with me."

"This is new," Leigh tells me, as she stands up "Hey, you should come too. I don't think that you'll have to sing in front of anyone, if that makes it any better." I groan, standing up.

"I'm gonna suck at this, so let's go, before I change my mind."
