Chapter 12

Frisk's P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of fire crackling.

Where am I?

I turned to see Sky. This is when i noticed I was lying on the floor.

I yelped and stood up.

"Never liked dirt?" Sky chuckled. I frowned. "Eh...It's much worse then lying on a normal floor."

"True," I agreed as i looked around."How'd ya find me?"

"Hmm?" Sky said. "Oh Undyne told me." She was roasting  some fish over the fire.

"Who's Undyne?" I asked as i sat on the dirt floor, cringing.

"Oh she's the Royal Guard's leader,"Sky pointed the stick with the fish at me."Fish?"

"Uhh no," I pushed the stick away."How did Undyne know?"

"Oh, she tried to drown you. It worked. I guess," She said, not even caring about if i lived or died.

"I almost DIED!" I exclaimed.

"Oh yeah,"

"Don't you care?"

Sky looked at me."Oh i care. I saved you afterall didn't i?"

I rolled my eyes and stomped outta the cave. It was really damp anyway.

"Oh wait!" Sky called as she ran after me. "Undyne might still be out there, she'll kill you in every chance she gets!"

"Where were you?" I asked. Seeing Sky's confused expression, i continued. "When i was drowning."

"Oh! I lost you in Sn0wdin, then i asked Unity and she said you were in Waterfall, then i asked Undyne, and she said she was tryna drown a hooman! And i found you and i brought you here for shelter!" Sky rapidly said."I don't really know why Undyne wasn't suspicious though..." Her brow furrowed as she was lost in thought.

"Umm...Where's-what's the flower's name again? Oh yeah Flowey. Where's Flowey?" 

"Oh. Flowey won't follow me while i got you. He said it'll ruin his petals. He'll be coming soon!"

"When?"

"About now..?" Sky checked her imaginary watch. 

The earth rumbled as dirt flew and roots with thorns emerged from the ground. Out popped a little small yellow flower. His face smiling and petal's swaying in the wind.

"Howdy!" Flowey says.

"Az-Flowey! There you are," Sky chirped as Flowey's roots attached themselves to Sky's hand. "I've been waiting for HOURS slowpoke!" (POKEMON)

"Ok, hooman. Now go straight to the opposite side of the waterfall," Flowey instructed in his childish yet cute voice.(don't judge me, FLOWEY'S COOT OK)"You'll be safe there. Hopefully."

I don't like hopefully. It sounds...Like something horrible's gonna happen.

Hmm...

"Will you guys follow me?" I asked hopefully.

"We'll be over you, hiding,"Sky replied boldly."We'll protect you. Even from Undyne."

I smiled. Chara isn't here, it's nice to have someone to watch out for you. Two someones this time.
