Ashton's POV:
"You're kidding?!"
"No! He said yes!" Eve yells through the phone, I smile and ask her when she can come over, she says whenever because her dad is in a good move.
"I'll pick you up now, babe."
"Okay," I know she's blushing. "I love you." She says.
"I love you, too, sweetie. Bye."
"Bye."

Eve's POV:
Ashton picked me up and had small talk with my dad, turns out Ash was at home watching the same game as my dad. I'm glad they're getting along, I don't think I could leave my dad if they weren't.
Me and Ash grab lunch and then head back to his place, where a few minutes later the guys barge in with Chinese food.
"She was not looking at you, Mikey." Cal snorts.
"She so was!"
"How?!" Calum asks Michael.
"When she handed us the order she said "Thank you, come again." as in she wanted me to come again!!"
I start laughing as Ashton gets up to greet the boys.
"Hey guys," He says cooly.
"We got you Chinese," Cal says. "And Michael thinks he's a stud." He says, and I giggle, catching their attention as they all look at me.
"Hi guys…" I say awkwardly.
"Eve! C'mere." Michael calls me over and I stride towards the three men.
"What is it?" I ask, trying to act unfazed by Ashton's long arm thrown over my shoulder.
"Okay, if a guy walks up to you, and tells you you look good, and you say "come again." Then aren't you basically hinting your attraction towards him?" He asks, I snort.
"You're not serious, are you?"
"Oh trust me, he is." Cal says. "This argument has been going on for twenty minutes, Eve." He adds while he unpacks the food.
"Um," I think. "I don't know, I mean maybe she was just doing her job."
"No, she had the hots for me. Every girl has a way of showing it."
"That's not true, I don't have a way of showing it." I protest. I hear Ashton snort while laughing and I frown at him.
"What?" I ask.
"Nothing, nothing." Ash is still laughing.
"No, what? I don't have a way of showing."
"You do, Evelyn." He says.
"No I don't."
"Yes, you do."
"How? How do I show I have the "hots" for you?"
Ashton looks at the boys and then back at me, he leans in close to me and whispers in my ear.
"I can just tell, baby."
Oh god..
I contain myself for the moment and say "No you can't." Even though I know he can.
Ashton just laughs and drops it.
We all four sit at the old, wooden table in Ashton's apartment as Michael and Cal dig in. We talk about tour and all the places we're going, they seem really excited that I can come, and I'm really excited to go.
The guys decide they're spending the night because they were going to anyways, since they thought they were leaving the next day. Turns out, we got one extra day to pack because the other band isn't quite ready yet.
"My hair smells." I complain as I sit on Ashton's bed, watching him pack.
"Go take a shower then," He says.
"Here?" I ask. "No."
Ashton looks up with a frown. "Why not?"
"Because it's gross."
"Ah, the words every guy wants to hear from his girlfriend." He jokes and I laugh out loud.
"No, I just meant… It's weird." I say quieter this time.
"Baby, just get in. It's fine," He starts. "I mean, we're going to be sharing a room together for ten months anyways, so you might as well get used to my grossness." Ashton jokes.
My father's words come back to me:
"And you would share a room with Grace, not Ashton."
Oh. Oh damn,
"Um, Ash." I start. "Yea, about that. You see my dad would only let me go if I behaved myself." Ashton looks at me confused. "And that means I have to bunk with Grace. Not you." I say, bummed out a little.
"Oh," He says. "Yea, I mean, that's fine. It's whatever, I understand." He brushes it off and continues to pack, I walk around the bed and stop his fiddling hands, wrapping my arms around his torso as his hands slide onto my waist.
"Ashton… Do you wanna share a room with me?" I ask as if he's a child, Ashton smiles at me.
"Yes," He says. "I do." I slither my hands around his neck and pull his lips to mine, kissing him lightly and lovely. I sigh on his lips.
"Well, I guess one night with you couldn't hurt anyone." I give in.
"Yea?" He asks.
"Yea." I agree.
"Okay," He whispers.
"Okay." I copy.

That night I fell asleep in Ashton's arms but around 2:00am I wake up alone, cranky and annoyed.
"What a douche bag thing to do."
I hear whispers coming from the kitchen as I recognize Ashton's voice. What is he doing up so late?
"I didn't mean for it to happen, but Ashton, she didn't pull away. That's gotta mean something."
"Cal, it didn't mean anything."
What are they talking about? Where's Michael? Should I get up or just go back to sleep?
"We've been friends for so long, Ash. C'mon, it was an accident."
"And I can forgive you for that, but Calum, you can't look me in the eye right now tell me you don't still have feelings for her."
It's silent.
"Exactly." I hear footsteps as I sit cross legged on the bed. Ashton tumbles into the room, angry and sexy as hell, and doesn't notice me right away, but when he does…
"Hi." He says lightly.
"Hi." I copy.
"How long have you been up?" He asks.
"Not long." I say. "I didn't know where you went."
Ashton drags off his shirt and climbs on the bed.
"I'm right here, baby." He says, laying back as I lay on his chest, his arm wraps around me and I can feel myself getting more and more relaxed.
"I'll always be right here." Is the last thing I hear before falling asleep in his arms.
