Eve's POV:

Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck.

No.

No no no no no.

"Ashton." I whisper into the next room.

"Ashton, come out here now."

"I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE EVE!" My dad screams from outside of the door.

"Shit, Ashton come in here." I whisper louder, he walks into the room.

"What? What? What's wrong?" He asks startled.

"My dad."

"Your dad?"

"My dad is here."

"What?" His eyes widen.

"EVELYN!" My dad bangs on the door.

"I have to open the door." I say, Ashton nods in agreement.

I reach shakily for the doorknob.

I open the door.

"Dad, let me explain."

"Let you explain?! LET YOU EXPLAIN?!" He barges into the apartment.

"Eve what the hell were you thinking? Huh? What, that it was "fun" to just date a man 100 years older than you? How irresponsible, I'm so disappointed, so terribly disappointed, Evelyn."

"He's not a 100 years older, dad!! Did you forget that it was your sister was the one who took me to that club? Huh?"

"This has nothing to do with Britt! Nothing at all!! Just because you're being a slut and letting a 20 year old take advantage of you doesn't mean you can blame this on Britt."

"Woah," Ashton steps between us.

"It's not like that sir." He tries to explain.

"Don't you dare talk to me about what it's like!" My dad gets into Ashton's face. They're both about the same height, but Dad seems bigger, stronger and more powerful.

Unlike Asthon.

But Ashton is respectable.

"Dad! Leave him out of this!" I say from behind Ashton.

"He's the son of a bitch who started it all, Eve!!"

"DAD!!" I scream, Ashton doesn't say anything and I can't see his face. But my dad is staring me down in disappointment.

"Come. We're going home." He walks to the door.

"Dad I…" I don't know what to say. Or do.

Ashton nods at me. "Go," Ash says. "Listen to your dad."

My dad looks at Ashton surprised but doesn't say anything.

"Come on, Evelyn."

I look back and forth at the two males.

"Evelyn." My dad commands, I look back at Ashton and walk out with my dad.

I can't believe I just walked out on Ashton.

Sick, beautiful Ashton.

The love of my life, my heart and my sole.

Ashton.

The ride home is chaotic…

"He's a good guy, daddy!"

"He's too old."

"You and mom were 8 years apart… Me and Ashton are only 5 years."

"Don't bring your mother into this."
