I stretched out and glanced around, then I remembered where I was. I slid out of bed and pulled on a cardigan, the house was very quiet as I padded downstairs in search of the kitchen. I found it eventually it had black marble sides and with flagstone flooring, there was a note on the table addressed to me. I unfolded it and saw a note written in Adams curly copperplate writing, I skimmed my eyes down the page and read it. Morning Violet I trust you slept well. Help yourself to some breakfast, fell free to explore, Me, Tommy and Ashley are at the concert venue doing the sound check and rehearsal. I've left the spare key on the table in case you go out, your mom rang she said she's happy for you to stay as long as you want and she apologised for slapping you. Have a good day and I'll see you tonight.
After breakfast I decided to explore, I pulled on some clothes and wandered up the corridor. The room next to mine was blue with black rugs and décor, I spotted pots of glitter and makeup tidily placed on a dressing table. Im assuming it was Adams room because his boots were neatly placed by the window. I smiled and shut the door, the next room was lined with shelves. There was a fireplace and a couple of armchairs, the shelves were covered in books as if he had his own library! I shut the door and peeked into the next room, it was purple with white fluffy rugs and makeup on the dresser. A Guitar stand was in the corner of the room, im assuming this was Ashley's room.
I wasn't going to invade her privacy and go in so I shut the door an moved onto the next room, it was dark in here as I switched on the light and looked around. There was a couple of guitar stands and a keyboard, some drums and a microphone. Piece of sheet music were thrown across the table as I picked one up and read the lyrics printed at the bottom, One day I was trippin and that's when I could see, That the ether that I tapped into could be reality, It was great, that's when I climbed that optimistic vine, Once I hit that mountain peak I began to lose my mind.
Wow this looked like a pretty awesome song, I wonder what it was called? I placed it back on the pile and stood up. The next room I came to was a black room with red cushions and stuff, it was a bit more untidy than the others with straighteners hanging off the bed and clothes on the floor. Im guessing this was Tommy's room, I laughed at how untidy he was as I closed the door. My phone buzzed in my pocket as I pulled it out and glanced at it. It was Jasmine, hey Violet what time am I getting to yours tonight?
I tapped out a reply, im not actually at mine Im going to give you an address get your outfit etc for tonight and meet me here in half an hour. I pressed send and headed downstairs, the front room was huge with a massive flat screen TV and chairs dotted around the room. The garden was even better, it has lush green lawns and cherry blossoms. In the middle was a shimmering blue swimming pool with chair and umbrellas dotted around. I couldn't actually see the end of the garden it was that big.
I heard the doorbell go as I went to answer it. "Hey Jasmine" I said, "Hey this place is huge!" she said as I let her in. "So why aren't you at your moms and who's house is this?" she questioned, "Im not at moms because she got drunk and slapped me, this is Adams house he insisted I stayed at his" I told her as she nodded. "Oh right and your mom is cool with that right?" she questioned, "apparently so anyway do you want a tour?" I questioned. "Oh my yes please" she exclaimed.
Later that night....
I pulled on my black t-shirt and boots and looked round at Jasmine. "You know those heels are going to kill" I said smiling. "Ha who cares I look good" she said smiling, I rummaged in my bag and pulled out the backstage passes. "Are those what I think they are?" she squealed. "Backstage passes courtesy of my daddy" I smiled as she jumped up and down excitedly.
We left for the concert, it was only a short walk. It was packed solid, Adam must have a heck of a lot of fans. I made my way to the entrance and handed him the tickets, he looked at me weirdly. "What?" I questioned, "Nothing you look an awful lot like the singer we have in tonight, you could pass for his daughter. Anyway enjoy the concert" he said stepping inside as me and Jasmine exchanged glances.
Whoever looked at me gave me the same look, I smiled knowing that their ideas were true. We took our places right near the front as everyone filtered in and it soon became very claustrophobic. Suddenly the lights dimmed and a spotlight came up on stage, music started to play as Adam stepped onto the stage. Everyone erupted into ear splittingly loud applause, Adam started to sing as he spotted me and Jasmine and smiled at us.
We smiled back as some girl next to us looked at me, "sorry I didn't mean to stare its just that you and Adam look almost identical" she said. "Its ok I get that a lot, but I know him personally and lets just say we are pretty close" I said. Her mouth almost hit the floor, "you're too young to date him" she said. "Who said anything about dating him?" I smiled and winked.
As the concert came to and end I was getting pretty tired, I heard my name being called as I shook my head, "Huh did someone call me?" I said as Jasmine nodded and pointed up to Adam. "Ok Glamberts I have a massive announcement for you all, in the audience tonight is someone very special to me" he said as all the audience oooohed. "He isn't is he?" I whispered to Jasmine, "I think so" she answered clinging to my arm.
"In the audience is my daughter, Id like you all to give a round of applause to Violet!" he said as he held his hand out to me and pulled me onto stage. I flushed scarlet and hid behind my hair, I felt thousands of eyes on me as they all burst into applause. "You didn't need to do that" I whispered as he laughed and winked at me, "Of course I did I want everyone to know who you are" he said.
