Then. I recently heard there was a new girl in town. Called Hannah. Kat, one of my close friends, told me that she was throwing a party, for her because she was leaving and for Hannah because she was new. "So, will you come?" Kat asks, as we're eating lunch. "Fine." I say. She grins. "Only because she new, and when you're gone, she might need some protection from the assholes." I say. She nods. "Come to Hannah's whenever, I'll text you the address." She says. I nod. "Is Zach coming?" She asks. I shrug. "Have you asked him?" I asks. She shakes his head. "You usually bring him." She laughs. "True. I'll ask him tonight." I say. The bell rings. "Alright, I'll see you tonight?" I ask. "See you." She says. --- When I get home, I text Zach. My dad is actually at home for once, but he doesn't give a shit what I do. Me Hey, there's a party at Kat's tonight, come with mwah?😉

I put my phone away and start to get ready. I do my usual makeup and throw on a casual outfit. I ain't got no one to impress. Well apart from Zach I guess, but he's seen me at my worst plenty of times. When I finish my make up Zach walks in. "Hey" he says. "Sup" I say. He laughs. "Don't ever say that again." He says, flopping onto my bed. "My dad let you in?" I ask. He nods. "Can't believe he's actually home!" He says, sarcastically. I roll my eyes. "Even when he is home it's like he's not here." I say. "When will Ethan be home?" He asks. "I'm not too sure. Couple weeks or so, thank god. I think I'm dying of boredom alone here." I say. Zach laughs. I walk into the bathroom and get changed.
When we arrive to the party we see Justin. "Hey." I say. "Hey, El" he says. Zach and Justin talk for a while, whilst I check out the party. Then the sprinklers come on. "Shit." I say, and run away. I feel Justin pull me back. "Zach! Tell him!" I shout. Zach runs up to Justin and tackles him to the floor. I stand out of the way and then look up to see Kat and some girl looking at us. I walk up to them. "Hello." I say. "Ella, this is Hannah. Hannah this is Ella. She's probably the most amazing person you'll ever meet, after me of course." She says. We laugh. "Hey, Hannah." I say. "Hey." We then look back at the boys. "Justin Foley is mine. Zach Dempsey for you." She says to Hannah. Then Kat looks at me,"although I think Zach has got his eyes on Ella." I roll my eyes. "We're just best friends." I say to Hannah. Hannah raises her eyebrows. "You sure? From what I can tell he's pretty into you." She says. I look at her. "You've literally seen me and him together for 5 minutes." I say. "Yup, and five minutes is enough to tell he likes you." She says. They stop play fighting. "I saved you!" Zach shouts to me. "My knight in shining armour!" I shout back sarcastically and blow a kiss. "No, no, no. You're not coming into Hannah's wet." Kat says. Justin takes his shirt off. "This better?" He asks. "Definitely an improvement, but no, sorry." She says. "But it isn't a party without me." Zach says. I laugh. "Go dry off you idiots" I say, laughing.
