Then.
I wake up next to Montgomery.
"Shit." I whisper, realising I'm naked.
I see a t-shirt on the floor, Montgomery's t-shirt,along with my underwear.
I grab them with my foot and I slip my underwear on, and throw the t-shirt over my head.
Do I wake him up?
I decide that I probably should.
"Montgomery." I say, tapping him.
After a few taps, he's awake, he soon sees me in his t-shirt and smirks.
I roll my eyes.
"Oh fuck off." I say, laughing.
He clears his throat, and then I realise he's my just shirtless, he's completely naked too.
I raise my eyebrows as I go and pick up his shorts.
"Thanks." He says.
He slips them on underneath the covers and I sit there smiling.
"What?" He asks.
"Doesn't matter." I say.
"Breakfast?" He asks.
"Sure." I say.
We walk down stairs, Montgomery still shirtless and me still in his t-shirt and my underwear, no pants on.
I laugh as I realise this.
"Stop doing that." He says.
"What?" I ask.
"You laugh for no reason and then when I ask you, you say 'doesn't matter'" he says.
I laugh.
"Mmmm, it's just that I realised we're barley clothed." I say.
"Well, there's some basketball shorts in my room, you can go get them if you want." He says.
"Okay, sure." I say.
"Oh, grab me a shirt too."
I run upstairs and find the shorts, I also grab a shirt.
I pull the sorts on and smile, as they're way to big for me, and along with his t-shirt, I look like a deflated balloon.
I run back downstairs and throw him the shirt.
"So, about last night-" I begin.
"It's cool, I get it, no strings attached. Plus, I don't think Zach would be impressed" he says.
I roll my eyes.
"Well that was easy. I wish everyone would stop bringing Zach into everything I do."I say.
"Must mean something." He winks.
"Oh fuck off. Not you as well." I say.
He laughs.
"Kidding." He says.
"So where're your parents?" I ask.
"Holiday or something, fuck knows." He says.
I roll my eyes.
He then places pancakes infront of me.
"Wow, you can cook?" I say, laughing.
"There's a lot of things you don't know about me, Ella" he says.
"Mmmm, could say the same about myself" I say.
He raises his eyebrows.
"Sure about that?" He asks.
I scoff.
"Yes." I say.
"Tell me something I don't know then." He says.
I think.
"Well, I didn't go to my moms funeral." I say.
"Wait, what?" He asks.
I nod my head.
"Ethan didn't either."  I say.
"Why?" He asks.
"Just to depressing I guess." I say,"I cried for 3 weeks straight. Until one day I just stopped, to be honest I think I was drained."
"Fuck, I don't blame you. You and your mom were close. Your dads an ass." He says.
"Don't we know." I say.
He laughs.

Now.

It's been about a week since I got the letter saying that we need to go to court or something.
I recently called Hannah's mom asking what it meant and what we had to do.
She simply said they'll be asking questions about Hannah and what we knew, and also that it would be recorded. It was a deposition.
This freaks me out, not because I did something horrible to her, but just the fact that I left her is bad enough.
We're getting ready to go to the building where all of this takes place.
I get ready slowly.
Thinking about what could happen and what I should say.
The put in the bottom of my stomach starts to get bigger and bigger.
