Then.
It was lunch, and I was looking for Hannah.
I wondered around the halls for like 10 minutes, then I just thought she might be in the cafeteria.
I slowly walk in, my nose scrunching as I look at the lines for the food. I knew I should've bought my own lunch.
I then see Hannah and Clay sitting down, and I walk over, but then I notice Hannah has got short hair.
"Hey, guys. Hannah! Your hair! It looks amazing." I say, smiling.
"Hey. And thanks." She says.
"How come you're not with the Jocks and popular people?" Clay asks.
I roll my eyes.
"Who says I'm not? I just came over to say hi. And Hannah I've been looking for you for like 15 minutes." I say.
"Long time." She says, grinning.
"I'll see you in class, mkay?" I say.
"Bye, Ella." They say.

I walk over to Zach and the guys.
"Hey, Ella." I hear Bryce says.
"Oh. Hey." I say, smiling.
After saying hi to everyone, I finally sit down. It's like a ritual, I'm always the one to come in late, it's usually me and Zach,looking for Hannah was just one of those things, but it looks like she's got new friends now. Or one friend?

"So, there's a party at mine tonight." Bryce says,"you coming?"
"Is Zach going?" I ask.
"You do know you can go places without Zach, right?"
"Really? I never knew!" I say, sarcastically.
He rolls his eyes.
"Yeh I'll come." I say, laughing.
"Good." He says.

Zach came back home with me, he usually does this as he knows I don't like to be alone, even though I'm alone at home most of the time.
"So, you going that party tonight?" I ask.
He nods,"wanna come with me?"
"I always come with you." I say.
"Yeh, I know. Stupid question." He says, looking flustered.
"Wait?" I ask,"are you flustered?"
He shakes his head no.
I laugh,"yes you are! What's wrong?"
"Nothing." He says.
"Tell meeeee" I say, pouting.
"I just- I uh... wanted you, to go with me, but... as my date?" He asks.
"Wait what?" I say.
"It's totally fine, if you don't want to!" He says, quickly.
"Oh, no. I'll go with you, as your date." I say, smiling.
"Really?" He says.
I nod.
"Why not?" I say.
He hugs me.
"Thank youuuuu" he says.
I laugh.
"Come on, I need to get ready." I say.

Me and Zach walk up to Bryce's house.
He wraps his arm around my shoulder, which he only usually does in school, as most people in school know we're only friends, but this time we're not going as friends.
We see Bryce and some others chatting.
"Hey guys." I say.
"Hey- Zach? Why have you got your arm around Ella?" Montgomery asks.
Wow. They already noticed.
"Well, she's my date." Zach says.
"Finally, good job man." He says.
I roll my eyes.

After a little bit most of us ended up in the jacuzzi, in our underwear.
Zach and I are sitting together, once again, his arm wrapped around me.
We're all laughing and joking until we see a distraught Hannah walk towards us.
"Hannah? Are you okay?" I ask, moving closer to the edge.
She nods.
"Fine." She says.
"Come on, get in!" Jess says.
I move back into Zach's arm, and after a while of persuading, she gets in.
We stay in a while longer when Jess and Justin leave.
It's just me, Zach, Bryce and Hannah.
"Oh shit! What time is it?!" Zach asks.
I shrug, and look at Bryce.
He takes his phone out of his pocket from the side of the Jacuzzi.
"1:30am." He says.
Zach just nods.
"It's okay, my dad wanted me home by 2" he says.
I laugh.
"Unusual curfew." I say.
"You know what he's like, past 2am and he thinks I'm dead." He says.
"Well you've got half an hour to dry off and get home, wanna get out now?" I ask.
He nods.
"We'll see you guys later, by the way, Hannah have you done that math homework? I don't get it." I say.
She nods.
"I'll text you the answers." She says.
"Okay, well I'll see you later. Bye Bryce." I say.
"Bye El." He says.
Me and Zach get out, laughing as we do, leaving Hannah and Bryce alone.
