Chapter 6

We walked outside and Alex walked over to the garage. She grabbed a skate board out and chucked it to me. I caught it with ease and looked at the design on the bottom. There was blue and purple paint splattered as a design with the words "Be Bold" wrote in cursive. 

I smiled and looked as she pulled out on that was green and black painted but same words and design. 

"Ready?" she asked 

"Yeah." i replied with a smile. It's been so long since i've done this. 

"letz go." we both said with a smile and we flipped the boards down, skating towards the mall. We raced about half way and then stopped and just enjoyed the town. 

We finally got to the mall and we flipped our boards up and walked inside. I think it was because the way we were dressed because when we walked in all the girls looked at us and scowled. 

I looked over at Alex who just rolled her eyes and chuckled. she was wearing ripped black skinny jeans and a blue crop top. I was wearing the exact same thing kind of. I was wearing black skinny jeans but they were ripped more than Alex's and my crop top was red. I had on a snapback, she had on a beanie. She planned the outfits before we left. 

We just chuckled and walked around the mall for a bit. We made it to the park in the mall and a bunch of guys were there but no girls. Surprise Surprise. 

"Are you hungry?" Alex asked. 

"yeah, we should get some food." I said and she smiled. 

"Pizza and monsters after skate?" she asked 

"That sounds good" i said with a cheeky smile. I could basically hear the boys jaws on the floor. 

"Lets skate then" she said and skate we did. Some of the guys got cocky and tried to go up against us but we also knew more tricks. Most of the guys just sat down and started watching in awe. After about 2 hours of skating we finally decided to got get food. As we were walking up the skate ramp a guy called out to Alex and we turned around. 

Now im not one to lie so im going to tell you straight out, this guy was hot. Like really, really hot. He had short cut black hair and a hard jawline with deep blue eyes that held secrets and mysteries. 

"Hello" he said to her 

"Hi.." she mumbled off. 

I looked up at her thinking she were insane and she mouthed the words. 

I'm a lesbian 

I could see it was taking everything in her not to laugh and same with me. 

"Well ya see mister" i said stepping up and wrapping my arm around her back so my hand was now placed on her hip.

"Sorry but shes all mine, now bye  bye" i waved off and i could hear a couple mumbles through the crowd such as 

Damn thats hot

he sighed and walked away and me and Alex busted into laughter. We were laughing so hard that we were holding our stomachs crying. Once we got done with our laughing fit we went to a place in the mall with monsters and pizza. We ordered our pizza and decided to skate and eat on the way home. 

We got our pizza and monsters and i put mine in my back pocket as Alex held hers and i held the pizza skating out. We got out of the mall and skated down the side walk. I opened the box and we both took a piece still skating and laughing at ourselves. 

Once we made it back to her house we were done with the pizza and we walked in, putting the skate boards by the door. 

"Today was fun" she said with a smile. 

"I know right" i replied chuckling. 

"Well im pretty tired, so ima head to bed but hey one problem.." she trailed off 

"yeah?" i asked 

"Well since i just moved here i dont exactly have any more beds so is it ok if you sleep with me? " she asked a little embarrassed. 

"Oh no sure thats fine" i said feeling my cheeks warm up, wait why? Why were they doing that?

"Oh ok well i'll be in bed night " she said and walked to the room i had woke up in with her. 

I pulled out my phone and went to Devin and I's conversation..maybe it's time..I should....I should delete the messages...

i hit the button. I wasnt going to get better if i keep grieving over her, and besides...she left me...

I got tired and decided to head up to bed. I took off my shoes and walked up stairs and opened the door slowly. Alex was sprawled out on the bed in shorts and her crop top and was fast asleep. I held in my giggles as i walked over and seen a pair of shorts on my pillow. I went to the bathroom and changed and laid down in the bed beside her. 

She looked so peaceful when she slept. Her hair was gently pushed back and she looked as if she might never wake up. 

I closed my eyes as the memories of today flooded through my head. Before i knew it. I was fast asleep.
