Gone

Chapter 9

I pushed the water forward so that it went up and hit Alex in the face. She shivered in the water and i giggled as she tried to get used to the temperature. 

¨Meanie¨ she muttered crossing her arms. She splashed me back and i shivered now. 

I giggled ¨Ok ok i deserved that-¨  before i could finish she had splashed me again. 

¨hey meanie!¨ she exclaimed and she chuckled. I leaper over in the water and wrapped my arms around her as i took us both under water. She opened her eyes under and smiled at me. I did the same back and studied her. She was so pretty. 

We both went back up for air and decided it was time to get out. We stepped out and ran inside freezing to death. 

¨T-That was fun¨ i said with my teeth chattering. Alex brought me a towel and wrapped it around me. 

¨Thanks¨ i said blushing. She wrapped hers around her and we both walked upstairs. It was now 2 in the morning so we just decided on taking showers and then going back to sleep. 

¨You can go first if ya wanna¨ alex said offering me clothes. 

¨K thanks"i said with a smile. I walked into the bathroom and closed the door. 

After my shower i stepped out dressed and Alex went in. I laid down and shivered because i was still really cold. 

After about 10 minutes of being curled into a ball on the bed trying to get warm, Alex came out and laid beside me. She must have noticed me shivering because Scooted closer to me and buried her face in my neck as she wrapped her arms around my waist. 

¨Night Embry¨ she mumbled

¨Night Alex¨ i whispered back. 

¨i..i love you..¨ she whispered. 

¨I....¨ i trailed off 

¨i love you too¨
