Chapter 2 : Finding Her

Zeref [POV]

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh" I screamed as the searing pain came back rushing in my head . The clearing in which I was in got hit with my magic . Death was seen in a ten yard radius .

Why can't I control my curse ? Why can't I enjoy things like any other normal person can ? I feel jealous of how others can enjoy everything but they take it all for granted . It upsets me that is why I have delivered punishment for those who do . I've think you heard of me as the 'Dark Mage ,  Zeref' , the slaughterer responsible for the loss of more than 400 lives . At that time I couldn't control my curse after the event in which I lost the person who I loved the most . She died in my arms after one kiss . The sadness it brought to me was indescribable .

As I was walking out from the clearing in which I just murdered , I felt 4 auras near me . Oh gawd I must tell them to leave before I lose control . But than again my demons and I might enjoy there company of suffering . The entertainment after a long time of no activity .

Eventually I found out my demons were demolished when I found the four sources of the auras . What I saw enraged me . How could someone be so cruel to someone ?

I hid in a tree to see what would happen . I saw a blonde girl sprawled out in the floor after taking out one of my most powerful demons . But now she was on the floor being beaten by my low ranking demons who are ganging up on her . What enraged me is that her comrades were just standing there watching her suffer .

Than who I saw shocked me . My brother was standing right across from me , Natsu Dragneel ......

"I hope you die , Lucy . Than I can finally be with Lis without worrying that the guild will not like my decision . You probably used your spirits as a shield right now because you are too weak to protect yourself" said Natsu with a emotionless face . I couldn't believe what I was hearing . The girl looks far from weak and I see that she has a seal for her powers . But what was shocking was my once kind caring brother was disrespecting a comrade . I heard he joined Fairy Tail which is known for protecting nakama no matter what .

The girl was breaking emotionally . It sounds to me that they were best friends . Than her other comrades stated other things . Than they left leaving the poor blonde girl who now looked a bit familiar now that I think about it .

She stares at the sky and was about to lose consciousness but than she started glowing gold . I closed my eyes as the light was so bright . When the light died down I saw that her appearance had change . She had golden hair , her skin looked sickly pale , her eyes changed to red eyes , her lips were blood red , and her outfit changed as well . She wore a wine red strapless dress with black laces around the edge . It stopped by mid-thigh . She looked hot .

Than all of a sudden she gave a piercing scream . I decided that I should help her since she looked like she was in immense pain . I healed her and her red eyes stared at me . She than hugged me and thanked me . I stiffen at the sudden contact but than hugged back .

As I looked at her I than remember who she was .

"Lucy Heartfilia , is your name right ?" I said slowly and cautiously .

"Yeah that's me . Thank you for healing me . ummmm what's your name" she asked . Her voice sounded powerful and strong .

"My name is Zeref" I told her . What surprised me is that she didn't run away from me after hearing my name .

"Can u train me Zeref-kun" Lucy said sweetly .

"And why would I do that . You don't Even know me and you ask if I can train you " I snapped back at her .

"I trust you Zeref-kun . You helped me and you also witness what happened to me earlier . I want to get revenge on Fairy Tail . What better way than to ask the Dark Mage Zeref " she stated as if it was the most obvious thing .

"Fine" I muttered knowing that this was not up to discussion .

"Yay ....thank you" Lucy said while hugging me again . She needs to stop with the hugs . Makes me feel awkward because I don't know what to do . Jeez Lucy Heartfilia what have you've done .
