Hae Soo's parents died before she even turned a year after she was born. She was, then, adopted by Hae Soo's aunt. Her cousin Hae Rin act as a mother to her since Hae Soo's aunt is too busy to take care of her.
When Hae Rin turned 21, she was married off to Wang Wook. Hae Rin brought Hae Soo with her when she moved in with Wang Wook.
Hae Soo grew up very quiet and alone. She doesn't have any friends. Because Hae Rin is worried about her, she asked Wook to give Hae Soo a servant who can be with Hae Soo all the time since she cannot take care of her cousin anymore because of her sickness.
Hae Soo started to learn things with Chae Ryung, her servant.
Until one day, Wang household was in chaos because Hae Soo is missing.
