"Oh, lookie here! Arthur Pendragon!" one bandit, probably the leader, mocked. His gruff voice was joined with cheers by his friends. Merlin glared at them, knowing he could wipe those smiles right off their faces. No, he couldn't let Arthur know of his magic!
"You only want me," Arthur said, "not my manservant. Take me, I don't care, just let him go." Merlin stood, shocked. Arthur was willingly giving himself in, and letting him free. Merlin, though, wasn't leaving alone. He backed away, the bandits allowing it and going by Arthur's wishes. He picked up the sword he'd brought, just for a moment like this, when the leader turned away to face Arthur. Merlin glanced around, and no one was looking. Maybe a little magic would be useful. Merlin eyes flashed, taking out a few surrounding bandits out of the main group, them silently falling to the dirt. After about five or six were out, Merlin decided to go in and attack. He swung at a closer bandit, and then the seven bandits left and leader were facing Merlin. Out of the corner of his eye, Arthur unsheathed his sword and struck two bandits at once, both falling to the ground. The leader shouted out that he had the King, so four knights gained in on Merlin, whilst the leader and a strong-looking bandit surrounded Arthur. The King zoned into the leader, knowing he was the biggest threat. He repeatedly hit at him, using all his knowledge of fighting, but was blocked and pushed down.
Merlin, however, didn't know nearly as much, so was easily taken down. His sword was flung away, leaving him defenceless... almost. Arthur was too focused on his battle, so Merlin muttered an immobilising spell, but it never took affect. An array of swings from the four swords left Merlin wounded in about every inch of his body, especially the large cut over his stomach. The bandits laughed, then started kicking him around.
Arthur had gotten up and had beaten down the strong bandit, but he was in a sword fight with the leader when he spotted Merlin from the corner of his eye. One bandit raised his sword at the servant.
"Let's finish him off, eh?" he asked, the reply being yelling and shouting in glee. Merlin was in extreme pain, he wanted it over. Maybe he'd see Freya again... He distantly heard Arthur screaming his name. Arthur, he couldn't leave him. Suddenly, a roar erupted from him, full of power. The bandits flew back, clearly letting Arthur have view of Merlin's golden eyes. The leader scrambled up and ran, fear shown on his face. His friends all followed suit. Arthur glanced down at his servant and friend, bloody and bruised, and with his normal blue irises.

A/N: Yes I know the fight scene wasn't that good, but as you've realised, this is a reveal fic. I'll post the next chapter soon after, I won't keep you waiting for Arthur's reaction for too long...
