Chapter 8

After Seongwoo and I put the fruits in the cooler, I went to get change in my tent.

I suddenly got a call from Samuel, I didn't know if I should pick it up or not but I did anyways

YJ: Hello

SM: Hello, have you arrived safely?

YJ: Yeah

SM: I really liked the shoelaces and T-shirt, thanks

YJ: No problem, I just bought it while buying mine

SM: Can we meet after you come back?

YJ: What for?

SM: I have something to tell you

YJ: Is it really important that you can't say it through phone

SM: It's important, at least to me

YJ: Okay, I'll see about that

SM: Okay

YJ: Bye

I ended the call.

" Yoo Jung ah! " Justin called me.

" I'm coming " I responded.

I quickly wore my jacket and went out.

" We're going to the beach, just wear flip flops " Jihoon told us.

" Okay " We all responded.

We went to the beach and started to splash each other with water,

" Yoo Jung! come here! " Seungwoo called me.

" It's fine, I'll stay here " I sat down on the sand.

They suddenly ran to me and carried me in the water,

" Put me down! " I shouted.

They threw me in the water and ran away, I didn't know how to swim so I was half drowning .

- Jihoon's pov-

" Can she swim? " Seongwoo asked.

" Ask Justin, where did he go? " I looked around.

" He went to the toilet just now " Seongwoo told me.

" I think she's drowning " I saw he slowly stopped moving.

I quickly ran in the water and swam to her but she was floating pretty far. I continued swimming until I reached her. I carried her safely back and lay her down on the sand, she was unconscious.

" Is she breathing? " Seongwoo asked.

" I don't think so " I replied.

" What should we do? " He started to worry.

My mom use to teach me what I do when someone stops breathing, I put my mouth against hers and soon she start coughing water.

" Are you okay? " I questioned.

I put my arms around her neck and pulled her up. Not long later, Justin came back

" Hey! Why didn't you tell us Yoo Jung can't swim? " Seongwoo yelled at him.

" I'm fine, it's not his fault " Yoo Jung said.

" Let's rest in our tents first " I carried Yoojung on my back to the tent.

- Yoo Jung's pov -

My heart was fluttering when Jihoon carried me but I tried not to be obvious. They brought me to my tent and I went inside and change my cloths. I took a quick nap while they clean their tents because they told me to rest.

I got out and they were cooking ramyeon,

" Did you have a good nap? You must be hungry " Justin pulled me to sit next to him.

They lend me a bowl with ramyeon with dumplings in it. I ate it so well, it tasted like the one dad use to cook for me

" Is it delicious? I made the dumplings myself " Jihoon asked.

" It's really good, thanks " I replied.

My phone suddenly vibrated, I got a text

Seong Woo: Do you still want to see the sunset?

Yoo Jung: Yeah

Seong Woo: Come to the beach after you eat, I'll be waiting there for you

Yoo Jung: Okay

We looked at each other and smiled.

" Why are you both on your phones? " Justin questioned.

" It's nothing " We responded.

After I finished my food, I grab and jacket and started making my way to the beach, I couldn't see Seong Woo anywhere though

" Here! " He called.

He was looking at the tall trees in the corner, the trees were really tall and green and has very thin branches with holes on it.

" It's pretty " I said.

" Let's take a picture together? " He took out him camera.

We took 3 shots and was satisfied with how it came out.

" Let's go there and sit " He said.

We went near the beach and sat down,

" The sun is gonna set in 10 minutes " He told me.

" We came on time " I said back.

" Do you like Jihoon? " He suddenly questioned.

" What? " I asked back.

" Is that a yes? " He sounded serious.

" Why would you ask such a question? " I said.

" You're bad at lying " He said.

" What will you do if I really do like him? Why do you want to know? " I questioned back.

" Because I like you " He confessed.

He suddenly pulled me in his embrace,

" Whenever something happen to you, I just panic and get worried but I was never able to be the one to find you first or to save you first, I'm always late... but starting from now on, I don't want to be late anymore " He explained.
