Chapter 9

" What are you guys doing? " Jihoon sat down next to me.

" I was just comforting him because.... well.... his friend's dog passed away " I made up.

" Oh " He said.

" Where is Justin? " Seongwoo asked.

" He is taking a nap, such a baby " Jihoon giggled.

My phone rang and it was Samuel,

Yoo Jung: Hello

Samuel: Yoo Jung ah! Your dad...

Yoo Jung: Samuel, what's wrong?

Samuel: Your dad is taken to the hospital, he is sick

Yoo Jung: My dad?!? Which hospital?

Samuel: Seoul Ye-Dang hospital

Yoo Jung: Wait there, I'm coming

I ended the call and ran to the car,

" Where are you going? " Seongwoo questioned.

" My dad is sick " I answered.

" You stay with Justin, I'll go " Jihoon told him.

Jihoon went inside the car and we headed to the hospital,

" I'm sure your dad will be fine, don't worry " Jihoon comforted me.

45 minutes later, we arrived at the hospital and rushed to his room,

" Yoo Jung, you're here " Samuel got up.

" How is he? " I asked him.

" He suddenly fainted and the doctor said it was a sudden dizziness and he needs to rest a lot " Samuel explained.

" Thank you " I told him.

I went inside my dad's room and the boys waited outside.

- Samuel's pov -

" Are you her friend? What's your name? " I asked the guy Yoo Jung came with.

" Park Jihoon, you? " He asked back.

" Kim Samuel " I replied.

" Are you her friend too? How do you know her father? " He questioned.

" Yoo Jung and I use to date and I always take her father out for dinner so we're close " I answered.

" Do you... still like her? You worry about her and come to her house so much " He came up with that sudden question.

" Why are you curious about that? " I pretend to take it as a joke.

" I'm serious, you look like you still like her. If you don't, why would you keep visiting her house? " He sounded more serious.

" It's not related to you so don't worry about it, I just have something I want to make clear with her " I told him.

" I hope you could quickly make it clear and leave her alone " He said.

" Who are you to talk to me that way? Are you her boyfriend? " I raised my voice.

" She's never in peace when she sees you, I'm saying this as her close friend " He told me before walking away.

Yoo Jung came out of the room and walked up to me,

" Thank you, thanks to you his condition is fine " She bowed.

" It's nothing " I said.

She was walking away when I grab her hand,

"Do you have a minute? Let's talk " I told her.

We walked to the empty room,

" I missed you.... a lot " I said.

" Was that what you wanted to talk about? " She asked.

" I know you didn't miss me but....... can you... give me another chance? Please " I questioned.

" You're wrong " She stopped me.

" What? " I was confused.

" I miss you too but... I never wanted you back for anything more than a
friend " She told me before walking away.

Those few words broke my heart.
