Chapter 9: Missing You

Yusuke's POV

So I just layed on my bed after eating and taking my medicine... I don't feel so good. 2 hours later, Masa-nii came in and checked my temperature... "You're still burning. How are you feeling?" He asked me. "I'm ok. Just a little headache." I answered my big brother. "I'll be back to check you later and give you your medicines." He said smiling before he went out. I wasn't feeling well so I decided to go to sleep.

Hinagiku's POV

So... Yusuke-kun was sick. I hear from Hinata-san that he was burning hot this morning. It must be nice of her to be there knowing all about what's going on with Yusuke-kun. I was walking home. I reached my house and unlocked the door with my key. I entered and went directly to my room to change into some white shirt which I tucked into my brown checkered skirt. I wore some hairband to keep my hair out of my face. I wore my fluffy slippers and wenr into the kitchen to get myself some milk and cookies so I could at least eat something while doing my homework.

30 minutes later, I was done with my homework. I remembered Yusuke-kun. I admit that I'm worried about him... Is he feeling any better. Should I call him? I grabbed my gold colored iphone and stared at his number for like 5 minutes... Should I call him or not?.. maybe not. It'll just be a bother. But how will I know of he's ok or not. Oh forget it I'm gonna call him. I dialled his number and his phone started ringing.

Y: Yusuke
H: Hinagiku

Yusuke: moshi- moshi

Hinagiku: Yusuke-kun...

Yusuke: Oi. What's up?

Hinagiku: ....

Yusuke: o-oi... are you there?

Hinagiku: m-mm! Gomenasai, Yusuke-kun... I know you should be resting right now but I just wanted to know if you're doing fine... ... a-are you feeling alright?

Yusuke: :) don't worry about me. It's just a little cold and fever. I'll be fine ^_^ were you worried?

Hinagiku: (blushing) eh? ... I guess you could call it that.....

Yusuke: (laughs) I'm ok so don't worry, Hinagiku.

Hinagiku: that's good to hear then... thank goodness... get well soon, ok? It's kinda sad without you around.

Yusuke: (smiles uncontrollably) really? Miss me already?... I'll see you at school tomorrow ^_^

Hinagiku: Is it really ok for you to go to school tomorrow? Are you ok now?

Yusuke: actually, yes. Masa-nii gave me medicines that worked quickly.

Hinagiku: ok then.. see you at school. Take care, Yusuke-kun.

Yusuke: yeah.

And with that we both hang up. I'm so happy to hear hia voice again. I'm so happy that he's ok. Hina... You have to forget about your feelings. But how? I can't leave him again... whenever I see him... I just can't help it. It's cold outside. It's snowing.

Yusuke's POV

It was morning and I was feeking better so I got up from bed, took a shower and wore my white Meiji University shirt together with a bkack pair of jeans and black jacket. I chose to wear my white snickers today. I walked downstairs and I saw all of my brothers including Emma already in the kitchen eating breakfast. I joined them and ate breakfast. "Are you ok now?" Natsu-nii asked and I said yes and thanked everyone for taking care of me. It was snowing so they were talking about snowboarding this weekend but I didn't say anything.

"Oi, Yusuke. Bring Hinagiku on Saturday, kay?" Tsuba-nii said. "Why?" I asked him. "You can't have fun without bringing your friends or your family. She's been like a family to us for a lonv time so don't be selfish." He said to and I freaked. "What?! I'm not being selfish. I just asked why I need to bring her?" I said defendibg myself. "Same thing." He teased. Sometimes I really don't like him. He's having so much fun teasing my facial expression and my reactions.

Me and Emma went to school together. "Are you feeling any better now?" She asked me while we were on the train. "Yes.. I'm fine now." I answered her. Is she really worried about me. I blushed a little. We reached our school and I saw Hina leaning on the gate reading a book.

Me and Emma glanced at each other and smiled. We walked to her and we greeted her. "Hey." I said to her and she looked up at me. "Hi. It's nice to see that you're ok now, Yusuke-kun." She smiled at me. "Oh and umm... I baked you some red velvet cupcakes with butter cream... You were sick yesterday so i thought it would be nice if I gave you some 'Welcome Back' dessert." She said handing me a box with 6 red velvet cupcakes. "Oh thanks. I'll just eat this later at home." I said smiling at her. "Hehe. Did you like it? I chose red velvet cupcakes 'cause I think they match your hair." She said as she laughed slightly.

"You-" I said but unable to finish my sentence. My face making the 'are you making fun of me' expression. "Ja! I'll be off to class. See you, guys later." She said running off. Emma gave a small laugh. "She's really cool, ya know. It would be nice to have a girl like her in your life. Don't you think, Yusuke-kun?" She asked while we walked in the school. "Well, she's already in my life... but I hate it when she does that." I said to her. "Oh that's not what I meant- never mind." She said to me. What was she talking about? I wondered. We both went to our separate class and I was the same class as Hina. I sat down beside her. "Hey." I said. "Hi." She said smiled sweetly at me. I guess I just didn't really noticed how beautiful her smile was. Dammit, Yusuke... what're you saying?

Classes started and I didn't know that I was staring at Hina for a long time so I decided to just listen to the teacher. Why am I staring at her?

When we were dismissed I talked to her about the snowboarding this weekend. "Hey.. we'll be snowboarding for the weekend. My brothers wanted you to come with us so... are you in?" I asked her. "Of course! I love snowboarding... I'll be there. Let's go. We'll be late of we don't eat now.
