Chapter 20: Movie Nights

Hinagiku's POV

I was home and I was still wondering why Shinn-kun is here. I came back in Japan and he was suppose to go to China to study there when we left Canada. What is he doing here? It appears that Shinn-kun didn't like Yuusuke-kun at some point... He was ok with Yuusuke-kun back then because I told him about Yuusuke-kun... But now, he seems to hate him. I didn't tell Yuusuke-kun about Shinn-kun yet... But I didn't expect Shinn-kun to show up in Japan..

I heard a knock on the door. I didn't change yet. I was still in my blue denim ripped jeans, black shirt and a black zippered blazer with a hood and a black and white sneakers. I opened the door revealing Ayako-chan and Shunou-chan holding chips and sodas. "What's up?" I asked and they came in. "We were bored so we decided to have movie nights with you." Ayako-chan spoke... "Ooh and we invited Yuusuke-kun, Tsukigawara-kun, Ametatsu-kun and Shinosuke-kun... Should we invite Ema-san too?" Shunou-chan asked...

"No. Don't... She can't be here since Yusuke-kun is here." I said. "So?" They asked... "You won't understand... Just don't call her. Ok?" I said. "Haaaaaiii!!!" They said. Wew, thank God they are not that stubborn. Yuusuke-kun is still broken.

Oh no!!!! .... "YOU MEAN YOU INVITED YUUSUKE-KUN??????!!!!!!!" (Cute expression) I almost yelled at them. "You didn't hear me? Tsukigawara-kun and the others said that he'll be bringing burgers and fries while we watch so we wouldn't hungry. Yuusuke-kun said that you didn't know how to cook." Ayako-chan said before I heard someone knock on the door. "It must be them... I'll go get in." Says Shunou-chan. I didn't look at the door. "Where's Yuusuke-kun?"

"He'll be here soon. He went to buy food and he says that we should go."

Geez.. I thought it was him already. "Oi Hinagiku-san... You have a great place here... You don't have any noisy neighbors compared to our house." Says Shinosuke-kun... "Arigatou... Did you bring any movies... I left my movie hard drive at my locker at school..." I said embarrassed.

"Ehhh??? So what're we going to do now???" Says Shunou-chan and Ayako-chan... A knock on the door wa heard. "I'll go get it." Says Tsukigawara-kun. "Oh! Yuusuke's here."

"Foooooooood!!!" Says the rest of our friends. "I brought games since I went to Natsu-nii's and he gave me a bunch... You guys wanna try it?" Says Yuusuke-kun... What a hero... "Oooooohhh Asahina-kun is amazing ... We actually didn't have movies... Hina-chan forgot her hard drive at school." Ayako-chan said.

"Well, it must be your lucky day." Yuusuke-kun said.

We spend the rest of the night playing games... Yuusuke-kun is really good even though it's his firs time playing it. I grabbed a fry and put itp my mouth before chewing and swallowing. The night went by and it was already 1:30am... The rest of our friends were already asleep. I placed a large mattress there... I told them to sleep in the guest room but they fell asleep here.

"Oh! They're asleep? These weaklings... It gets boring when two people are left playing." Says Yuusuke-kun. "Hehehe.. That's true." I said to him as he turned off the game. I yawned as he sat back down on the couch next to me.

I went to the terrace which had a sofa and blanket... I thought Yuusuke-kun might be tired. I sat down and rested my legs on the circular sofa and covered up my legs with blanket. I stared at the sky and feel the cold breeze. "What're you doing in the cold?" Geez it was just Yuusuke-kun ... "You gave me a heart attack, geez..." I said to him as I saw two mugs in his hands. "I made you your favourite hot chocolate." He says handing me one mug and sat down and joined me. We shared the blanket. "It's nice to spend time like this. It brings back memories." Yuusuke-kun says. I smiled before sipping into my mug.

"Do you remember what I promised you when we were 8?" Yuusuke-kun asked.

Ninja Yuusuke fought all the creatures who kidnapped Princess Hinagiku and saved her. "Don't worry, you're highness!! Youvare safe!!"

As Yuusuke and Hinagiku were running together, Hinagiku tripped and got wounded. "Hina!!! You're hurt!!" Yuusuke panicked as he started to blow Hinagiku's wound... "Hime, would you like to go to the ice crean store?" Asked Yuusuke and Hinagiku just nodded with such teary eyes.

At the ice cream store while eating ice cream, "don't worry, hime. I wilk always protect you. Even if you cry, I will always find a way to make you smile." Says Yuusuke to Hinagiku. "Promise?" Asked Hinagiku. "I promise... As long as you promise that you won't leave me so I can keep an eye on you." Yuusuke said with a serious tone. "I won't promise that I won't leave you but I promise that when I leave, I will always come back even though I died... I will come back." Says Hinagiku cheerfully.

Yuusuke finished his ice cream cone and crossed his arms. "Fine... But I still won't marry you." Says Yuusuke... Hinagiku got angry and pouted as she placed her ice cream cone on Yuusuke's face... "I won't marry you etheir, you dork!" Hinagiku yelled at Yuusuke as he wiped the ice cream all over his face with a napkin.. "Geez, Hina... Now, I have to buy you another one." Says Yuusuke to Hina who is pouting. "No, thanks. I'm fine." She says crossing her arms..

Yuusuke bought another mango dark chocolate ice cream for Hina and went back to her. "Come on... Don't be mad. Here's your ice cream." Yuusuke said handing her the ice cream cone. "Arigatou... Anyway... A promise is a promise. Swear?" Says Hinagiku and Yuusuke just smiled and pinky swore with Hinagiku.

End of Flashback---

"I kep my promise... I came back... So, I hope you will too.... " I said smiling to Yuusuke-kun. "I will." He says smiling as I yawned.
"You tired?" He asked as I nodded... He rested his head on my shoulder. "Yuusuke-kun? You can sleep at the guest room. It'll be much more comfortable." I said as he closef his eyes. "No, thanks. I feel comfortable here.... *yawn* good night, Hina." He says as I waited for him to fall asleep even though I was really tired. As he was trying to sleep, I patted his shoulder three times before driving myself to sleep as well.
