"OH JEEZ!" I stared at Shilla, who had passed out right on front of me. I knelt in front of her, shaking her shoulders.

"SHILLA WAKE UP MY GOODNESS!" I stopped shaking her and layed her on the ground. I can't call the ambulance because they will surely find out she is human but WHAT CAN I DO? I paced the room. Well I can't just stand here...

I sighed and walked to the phone. I picked up the receiver and started to call my brother.

Koi: Hello?

Ava: KOI I NEED YOU RIGHT NOW

Koi: Sheesh, calm down sis! It can't be that bad.

Ava: JUST GET YOUR LAZY BUM OVER HERE ASAP

KOi: Okay, okay, give me a sec, will ya?

I hung up and ran back to Ava, checking to see if she was still breathing. Okay okay okay, what do I do??? I put a hand on her chest and felt for her heartbeath. Still beating... still breathing... I hope.

I heard a knock at the door and ran to the front porch. I gripped the handle and threw the door open.

"KOI! Thank the Moons you're here!"

"What do you need?" He studied my face. "You look like you've seen a willowgrim."

I grabbed his arm and rushed into the kitchen where Shilla was. I pointed at her motionless body.

"This... this is what I need help with..."

            "Ohhhh..."

"She took a bite of my tacos and collapsed. I-i don't know what happened."

"Heh, your cooking never was too great."

I elbowed him in the ribs.

          "NOW IS NOT THE TIME."

          "Okay okay... sheesh."

"Oh... and uh... one more thing."

          "What is it now?"

"S-she is not... not an aqua-folk..." I raised my shoulders and started fiddling with my fingers.

"She's not? Than what is she?" he studied her, "She has a fin..."

"It's fake." I walked over and gripped the fin, pulling at it. The fin slowly peeled from her skin, revealing a raw area on her neck.

          Koi just stared.

           "She's a human?"
