"YOU SING?!"

I sighed in exhasperation, you did just hear that, right?

"What's the matter with you two? Of course! Didn't we just hear him?" Naomi snapped.

"You guys are idiots," I mumbled.

I walked to my desk and pulled out a notebook, my journal for exact.

"Great, essay practice already?" Declan said. But I ignored them, they can't learn about me having a journal.

And by that I put the thing away.

"What do you need?" I sighed, knowing that they're here for money.

"Okay, since it's nice to have my life for a long time, I'd like to ask nicely than treating you like an ATM," Jordan explained

"So you're asking for money?" I suddenly asked.

"Uhmm, yeah. Pizza fee?" Jordan replied.

I just shook my head and answered, "I'll only spend another dollar on your real funeral."

The two snickered, leaving Jordan having a 'You-Let-Me-Down' card show.

"Rest in peace now Jordan, or we won't get pizza," Naomi joked.

"Naomi, you traitor! You chose pizza over your own best friend!" Jordan exclaimed.

"Who wouldn't?" Declan added and the three of them laughed.

"Hey Bent, why so serious? Try laughing or you'll die young," Jordan joked.

"I hope that you'll die young as well, Jordan," I retorted.

Then he grinned, "Oh you'll be coming with me at hell."

"That'll be bad, but I still won't do anything," I replied.

As a matter of fact, he should be dead by now.

"Get out," I said.

"But what about the pizza fee?" Jordan asked.

I picked up my wallet and pulled out a crispy ten dollar bill and gave it to him, wait... I could've throw that on his face, what was I thinking?

"Thanks!" Jordan exclaimed and slammed the door.

Sensing that they're all gone, I sang again.

"Cry me a river, build myself a bridge
I'm over this, can't let memories become the death of me
I'm glad to see everything that you are
And I believe that you are everything I needed
But I don't need no more~~~"

I hate my voice.

I pulled out my journal and started staring at it, thinking of either sketching on it or writing another page of a chronicle.

Then I suddenly heard my phone ring and I shot a glare at it, it may be either dad, Bentley, or one of the three who bought pizza.

As I looked on the screen, I saw it was Bentley calling me, so I cursed at it and ignored the call.

I sat back on my chair, facing my desk. I slouched at the thought that my own family would call me everyday when they can't just give one day to be myself.

Then I noticed the journal beside me, so I sat up straight and took a pen out of my pocket, and started writing random stuff that pops in my head.

"That figures,"I say to myself, I have never spent an hour writing like this before.

Then I realize that the tranquilizing dart was detected on bullseye so I quickly put away my journal and fixed the bangs on the side of my face.

"Hey Bent! Thought you went somewhere?" Jordan exclaimed then again ignored him.

I'm too silent.

"Uhm, Bennett? You okay?" Declan asked and I just nodded, while preparing sodas. Well I'm the cook here.

"Let us now have the feast of our lives by having a bite, no wait, by finishing a fine pizza slice!" Jordan announced.

"Nah, no need for speech Jordan," Naomi said.

So they all took a bite instantly while I took a short sip of my soda before biting.

"So, how's a lucky one hour without Jordan?" Naomi asked while I just smiled as an answer.

"Oh, Bennett. You're gonna receive something later," Jordan stated.

"Jordan, just be thankful that I'm on a good mood or I'd just kill you sooner or later," I answered.

"We're dead," Declan said then took another bite of his pizza, and again, sipping soda.

I was sitting with Naomi on my left and Declan on my right then Jordan on Naomi's left.

"This is kinda boring," Jordan said and I just rolled my eyes.

"Stop complaining," Declan snapped.

"I wasn't," Jordan said and then we all looked at him.

"Then what do you call that?" Naomi asked.

He grinned as if he finally hacked for the password of a strong connection of WiFi, "I'm expressing how I feel."

Then we all dropped our faces, we actually listened to him for a nonsense answer.

"How about some ice cream?" Declan suggested.

"Yeah! And Bennett would give us money to buy us one tub each!" Jordan added.

I rolled my eyes at them. Do they even earn allowance?

"Or maybe a tub with each of our favorite flavors in there?"

Then they looked at each other to see if everyone agrees, "Nah."

"Hey Naomi, do me a favor," Jordad started and whispered something to Naomi... who was writing in her diary.

They snickered, making me curious of what favor is that.

"Roger that!" Naomi answered and went upstairs.

---

I went to my room for a moment and saw a small box saying, "For Bennett, please open."

I hesitated at once, knowing that this could be a trick.

But what if it's important? I don't like acting as dumb, dumber but who knows?

Gah, I'm completely abnormal right now.

I opened the box and... a puppet bursted out. Haha, so this was the thing they talked about.

Before I went downstairs, I heard Jordan yell, "Hey Bent! We're escaping... I mean, going out to buy some tubs of ice cream! See you!"

Idiots.
