You could remember the incident clear as day.

It was a nice, clear day. Sounds of euphoria and justice were present in the air as hundreds of faunus fought for their rights, you were among them, sign in hand. You were atop the shoulders of your dear friend Adam, whom towered above the crowd despite his age.

"Hey (Y/N), I gotta dash for a sec someone's waving me over." He set you down and you just nodded before waving the sign again. You grinned at the genius of your sign.

'For the White Fang! The Humans Will Hang!'

The letters curved and swirled in a red text, the White Fang sign very faint in the background. You had made it a few weeks ago, happy to support the faunus extremist group.

Despite Adam leaving, you were still happy. Well.. At least until the gas started pouring through the crowd. You were instantly knocked to the ground and the yellow gas consumed your body within seconds, blinding you of all the action happening. You closed your eyes but they were already stinging, like thousands of tiny needles had sieged war on them.

Your body was burning too, and the air was leaving your lungs as you tried to scream out for anyone to help you, you had to to stop, needed to stop if you were ever to breathe again.

There will always be hope on the horizon though. Arms reached through the yellow haze and grasped at you, anywhere they could before lifting you and carrying you away as fast as you can.

"Don't worry (Y/N/N)! I'll get you home safe!" Yelled the voice of Adam.

You remember it all too well, and the events after it.

You left home, moving to a more remote village out in the woods. You were.. Difficult to convince. On the day of reckoning you wouldn't let go of Adam, whom had came to wish you goodbye, he rejoiced at the fact you would never be able to see the tears he was shedding.

Yet you left, you moved away, only to return ten years after, despite the loss of your sight, you could easily sense the feeling of home when you returned.

Currently you were at the market, it was late and you had finished selling off a beautiful fuschia coloured lantern to a well paying customer. Despite the loss of your sight you created some of the most beautiful things to offer in the back alley.

You packed your things up and waved goodbye to Aspen and Arwen, the twins that ran a stall across from yours.  Your hand glided against the stone wall, so familiar to the touch.

You turn the corner, and immediately catch on the hair standing on the back of your neck, it was normal, but not like this. You continue your way home, knowing the path off by heart.

You soon enter the alley to your home and reach the chipped olive green door. You go to insert the key when someone pushes you against the door.

Any normal person would fight back, but you sensed something... You sensed home. "Adam."

"Hello, (Y/N)" He let's you turn to fave him and he grimaces at the sight of your milky eyes, he knew the attack would happen, and he believed you would escape, but one should never underestimate fear.

He had tracked down the person that knocked you to the ground, and had killed them, as he had the people who lead the attack.

You didn't know this, you had left for the peace of the country on the whim of your protective parents. You had left him behind and he had spiralled into the monster he is today.

But you seemed to dull his sadistic side, you brought back his sanity if even for a second. You were back now, and he wasn't going to let you leave.

"Hey (Y/N)?"

"Yeah?"

"You are mine, right?"

"Forever and always~"
