Whitley quickly left the ballroom, sighing in relief as he began to walk down the corridor. He needed some time alone, and that crowded room was only annoying the hell out of him. The music followed him down the corridor as he walked his way to his room.
Where were you? That's what was on his mind. The faunus girl he had fell for had not shown yet, but of course you didn't know of his feelings.
He did want to tell you, but your hyperactive and sarcastic personality made him think you'd turn him down. He still loved hanging out with the fox girl, despite how annoying her little pranks could be.
He eventually made it to his bedroom, going straight to the balcony. Once he did, he sucked in a breath of fresh air.
"HEY SHITLEY!" Yelled an extremely familiar voice, "I NEED HELP! LIKE, NOW!" Whitley look over the side of the balcony, only to see you hanging there, staring up at him.
"Oh my, (Y/N), what happened?" He asked, reaching over and grabbing your hand. He pulled you up so you were grasping onto the balcony. You pulled yourself over, knocking both you and Whitley to the ground.
"Well, I saw that I was late. The guards wouldn't let me in so I had to sneak in!" You declare, sitting on him. He sat up as well, but didn't bother moving. "I climbed up but I slipped! I wasn't able to pull myself back up. I'm so sorry Whitley!" You apologized, hugging him.
"It's fine, (Y/N)." He said, "But you still owe me a dance." He then whispered into your ear and you giggled. You stood up before helping him get to his feet. He grabbed one of your hands while putting the other on your side.
"What about the music?" You asked. Whitley smiled.
"Do you really think we need music?" He asked and you simply shrugged in reply. You began to whisk you around the balcony, taking careful steps as of not to hit your feet. You smiled as you waltzed around with him, when suddenly you heard footsteps.
"Whitley." You both stop and Whitley turns to the door. He walks over as his father slams it open, Whitley jumps slightly, worried about if his father would yell.
"Whitley! What are you doing in here?!" Asked his father. Whitley put on a polite smile.
"I simply need to get a new tie. I spilled a drink on my other one after Madame Stacey fell into me. I will not be much longer." He apologized. The white haired man grunted and left the room and Whitley turned, only to see that you weren't there.
Whitley then sighed, "She's probably-" He was cute off by the sound of music begging to play. He turned only to see you, swaying along to it slightly.
"I for one think music makes it much more romantic."
